Specifically bought this to decrease drying time. I have low porosity, curly hair and want to minimize the heat applied during my wash and go. Drying time literally cut in half compared to me using my Dyson AirWrap with a diffuser attachment.

Not Durable - Only lasted 3 years

I used to love Dyson products but their hair dryer is way overpriced for the durability. Mine only lasted 3-1/2 years and then completely died. Called Dyson and only thing they could do was to give me the address to the closest repair center which is an hour away. Super disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have thick hair and I can dry it so fast now and only this before and after picture can tell you how I feel about the flyaway attachment! I have such damaged frizzy hair and it smooths it out so quickly!

I finally broke down and spent the money on my Dyson SuperSonic. I previously had been using a Devacurl diffuser along with a tabletop hooded dryer to dry my hair. 1 hour under the dryer then the handheld for 30 minutes. It made my wash and go a complete test of my patience. However, my Dyson changed the complete game and not only decreased the drying time it gave me body and movement when used appropriately. I have used less to no heat to achieve a better look and with my new curly cut, I’m in love. I have since given the old dryer away and haven’t looked back. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

I started off thinking how can I justify spending this kind of money on a hair dryer...my time!! My time is worth money and the amount of time this saves me is amazing. The new fly away adapter is the real deal!! Worth EVERY CENT!!
