Fantastic for salon use

This dryer has been saving my arm and shoulders. It’s lightweight and powerful. It has cut my dry time for clients in half! The fly away attachment is amazing!

This unique design led me to the product but the result from the use thereof was even more astonishing! Not sure how I survived so long in this world without this type hair dryer design. Works great for thin or think hair.

I bought the Dyson hair dryer last month. I’m loving it. It dries my hair quickly and doesn’t damage my hair. My hair is not frizzy and feels and looks so much smoother than when I used a regular blow dryer. The attachments pop right into position and stay put. This was a worthwhile investment.

Didn’t want to love it…

So I have thick, frizzy unruly hair. I am a no frills kind of person & hate styling but don’t like to always pull my hair back. This dryer is amazing. It takes minutes to dry and hair is smooth and soft. So So worth the money. My only criticism is the cord it a bit combersome.

Makes me mad it’s such a waste of money

I genuinely hate this hair dryer. It leaves my hair twisted in knots. I had used my sisters airwrap and really wanted one. My family got this for me as a gift. I was hopeful I could exchange for an airwrap but the return policy is super strict and my family got it more than 30 days before my birthday. I thought I’d give it a try and I truly hate it. Even in the lowest setting with the gentle attachment it’s way to aggressive for my hair. Maybe if you’re a professional hair stylist you can get this to work. It’s really turned me off of dyson. I wouldn’t buy anything as a gift for someone especially they won’t have time to return. I was pretty bummed they have such a strict return policy and they were polite but incredibly unhelpful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that you're not having a better experience thus far with your Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer. With regard to the airflow leaving your hair tangled or knotted, there are a few different things you can do to change the method in which you dry your hair. To begin with the unit is designed with a type of thermal control which means it will monitor and control the temperature at all times. When the dryer is held away from your head the dryer reads the temperature of the room and not your hair; this also causes your hair to blow all around which can lead to damage and tangles. In light of this, it may be necessary to use the dryer directly against your hair with a low speed/heat setting (to start with) using either your hand, a paddle brush or roll brush to control the movement of your hair. When applying these tips to your everyday styling you should start to see a difference in the texture of your hair. Omg!!!!

I have had it for over a week and wish I bought it when it first came out. My hair dries in less than half the time. I also have slightly curly hair and was very happy with the diffuser and regular drying attachments. I tell everyone about it. Amazing!!

They added a mat finish so your hands don't slip. They also added a filter clean light. I have straight, fine hair and this dryer avoids damage and adds volume. You won't regret your purchase.....
