Was recommended by my stylist. Was against the price but eventually gave in. Best decision ever!!! Wearing a short natural dries in 10min!! If you can get one do it i use the diffuser most often

Damaged Dry Hair

After using the hairdryer for several weeks my hair slowly dried out and got frizzy. It was enough that my friends noticed it and asked about it. I have never had a problem with dry or frizzy hair. My hair is naturally curly and I use high end professional products. I don’t color or perm it. Very expensive and disappointing. I was able to return it thankfully. Now working to get my natural curl and softness back.

With a conventional hair dryer, we often use heat protectant to assist with heat damage and other products, like leave-in conditioner. The Dyson Supersonic features an intelligent heat control, so there isn't a need for product before blow drying to give a sleek and soft drying experience. We do recommend using minimal to no product on the hair, as using product can lead to a straw-like texture.

No case

All the reviews I watched the dryer came with a case. Some reviews even had some heating pad and case. All this money spent and I can’t get a case?
Other than that it’s great for drying my super thick long hair. But highly disappointed… it’s these little things that make your customer feel appreciated.

We can confirm that not all model Supersonic hair dryer's will come with a case, or some of the bonus items, that other models may include. Looking at your account, you purchased the Pro model, which does not include a storage case. This will come with an included professional concentrator, diffuser, gentle dryer, wide tooth comb, flyaway attachment and an additional filter cage. We do have accessories for purchase on our website, including the storage cases.

Worth every penny

My significant other bought me one for Christmas a little over three years ago and I can confidently say this is hands down the best tool I have. I’m a cosmetologist of 14 years and have had a lot of blow dryers and this one is worth every cent. It dries in half the time, it’s not nearly as loud as other blow dryer so I can actually hear the conversation with my clients and don’t have pretend anymore lol. The weight of it is a good balance to prevent hand cramping..mind you I’ve used this every work day (4-5 days a week) 3-8 times a day. I also love the fact that it’ll shut itself down when the filter has to be cleaned for safety purposes..I did have an issue with it less than a year after I got it (the filter sensor had a short and would go off even when it was clean) and Dyson replaced it no questions asked….spend the money and invest in your hair, it’s worth it!!

no magnetized part to my gentle attachment!

I've just purchased this item! Broke it out tonight and my main attachment has no magnet on it. The Gentle attachment! Them I find out it will take time for them to order it for me. I was indeed surprised when I noticed this, epically since this was not a cheap item. Note:: I think, I will like this blower, just got off to a sorta frustrating start?

Not worth the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shortest lasting blow dryer I have owned. As a past hairstylist I never had a motor go in a dryer. Dyson only 3 years old and used for home only use and will not turn on. Not under warranty and no service center close enough to bring it to. I can ship it to them (my cost) but will have to pay for parts and repair. For the cost of the dyer it should have lasted longer than 3 years. Was not even used daily!!!!! I have multiple Dyson products but will never buy another.
