I can actually get my hair dry now!

i have coarse fine hair and its long. It has taken so so long to get it dry that i had given up and just put it up in a clip all the time and during the pandemic only wash 1x/wk unless going somewhere. plus with arthritis, it was painful to use a dryer all that time. This dryer is fabulous. I had my hair dry in no time and the flyaway took kept it from turning into the usually bush. I now look forward to washing my hair regular, like a normal person, now that this dyson dryer has made it manageable. My only disappointment is that i thought it was cordless, it is not.

Amazing dryer

Absolutely hands down my favorite hair dryer EVER!! It’s quiet and lightweight. It drys my hair in seconds and my hair has never looked better! My hair feels healthier and looks so shiny! I’ll never use anything else!

Absolutely worth every penny. I get compliments on my hair all the time. Drys fast. Looks great. If you are thinking of buying one know it is worth every penny

Disappointing

I was excited to purchase this blow dryer and from the videos I seen online, I had high hopes I would also enjoy this product but unfortunately this device was a fail for me. I only used this dryer twice and I instantly notice a difference in my curls. First, I honestly didn’t like how it dried my hair and secondly I noticed my curls in the front were looking stringy and lifeless. My curls never looked like that before I used this product. I used it again just to make sure and again when it was time to do my hair again, my curls were lifeless and I unfortunately had to cut some dead curls off. I believe the heat in this machine may be too strong for my hair, even though I had it on the lowest setting and it ultimately during that short time of use fried the front of my curls. I will be returning this machine back to Dyson.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We are sorry to hear that you're not having a better experience with your Dyson Supersonic™. Supersonic has technology that you may not be used to. There are a few different things you can do to change the method in which you dry your hair. To begin with the unit is designed with a type of thermal control which means it will monitor and control the temperature at all times. When the dryer is held away from your head the dryer reads the temperature of the room and not your hair; this also causes your hair to blow all around which can lead to damage and tangles. In light of this, it may be necessary to use the dryer directly against your hair with a low speed/heat setting (to start with) using either your hand, a paddle brush or roll brush to control the movement of your hair. When applying these tips to your everyday styling you should start to see a difference in the texture of your hair.

Soft Hair

My wife has repeatedly commented about how soft the supersonic makes her hair each morning. Since she has learned how to use it, she has gotten rid of her straightener. Excellent product!

Blows great but,

This blow dryer blows great but, I feel for a professional blow dryer the blow dryer cooling button should be on the triger finger. I'm a professional Cosmetologist for 25 years and it is hard to Balanced the blow dryer out when trying to cool hair. It put strain on my wrist and for the cost it's not worth it
