Excellent short-term phone

It was great for four months then it died. Because it was a gift , I couldnt provide a date and proof of purchase so i couldnt get warranty coverage. It was suitable for me and my first Samsung since my S7. It is unlikely i will relace it with another Samsung.

A couple weeks in and it's what i expected - a solid, fairly priced, unlocked Samsung phone. This A15 5G replaced my A14 5G (which replaced my Samsung S7). The A15 (as expected) is a little smaller than the A14, but still much larger than the S7. Copying from the A14 to the A15 is very easy using the Samsung "SmartSwitch" application. I dont buy from the local phone stores anymore, making it a bit tedious to find my next phone. But it's worth my effort to get what I need/want vs. what 'they' want me to buy.

Regarding your passwords, saving them may be a feature that you need to enable. Your phone does have options for a password keeper and autofill. If you have Samsung Pass set up, you'll be prompted to use your biometric data when logging into your accounts. Here’s how to use the Autofill service:

1. Navigate to and open **Settings**.
2. Tap **General management**, then tap **Passwords, passkeys, and autofill**.
3. Tap **Preferred service**, and ensure that **Samsung Pass** is selected.
You may also select Google; however, we highly recommend using Samsung Pass as it is powered by Samsung Knox, a defense-grade mobile security platform.
A link will be provided for more details and troubleshooting tips to help you get Samsung Pass up and running.
Additionally, the assistant on your phone is Bixby. I will provide a link to show you how to set up that feature so you can start taking advantage of all that your phone can do with Bixby.
