2nd one I have owned. Needed another due to upgrading phone. Very durable, and slim design. Otterbox is best in the business in protecting your phone. Never use anything else.

So let me start with saying I’ve had this phone in use for less than 5 days. before I even activated the phone I put this case and the alpha glass screen protector on it. I have dropped it twice that I can remember. I just noticed my screen is chipped at the edge and the screen protector is cracked in completely different places. 😵💫 going to be searching for a new case asap. Seems ridiculous.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst purchase of 2022

My otterbox is not fulfilling. I’ve had my new phone for about 2 months now and i’ve only ever used the otterbox symmetry. i dropped my phone this morning and the back is completely shattered. i am very disappointed in otterbox and will NOT be repurchasing in the future

Bane of my existence

I've used the Symmetry series for my last 3 iPhones. All of them were excellent, when I would santize my phone with rubbing alcohol. HOWEVER, this new version for the iPhone 14 Pro (and likely the other iPhone14 versions) gets tacky to the touch with alcohol. Even if I santize my hands and grab my phone before my hands are completely dry. The "rubbery" bumper chemically reacts to the rubbing alcohol and it will stay sticky for hours -- ACTUAL HOURS. Sticky to the point that it will show your fingerprints in the plastic, unless you erase it with more isopropyl. It's gotten to the point that I've avoided santizing my hands at time in order to handle my phone. First world priorities...
This is a sensory nightmare if you santize your hands regularly.
I would gladly have replaced my last phone with a refurb if I knew the case quality had tanked. On the plus side, I have dropped my phone lots of times, and it has never broken like some of these reviews.

We recommend the occasional case cleaning with warm water and mild soap to keep things looking fresh, but if you're using an alcohol wipe please make sure the surface of your case is thoroughly dried after to avoid any of these cosmetic concerns. Not a Great OtterBox Case

I’ve owned several OtterBox cases over the years. I buy them because their quality and they protect our phones while also making some cute prints and colors. This case is a disappointment. It has discolored terribly after just a few months and looks awful. It needs to be replaced.
