Great Color, But Does Not Protect Your Phone

I was excited to receive my bright, and cheerful colored phone case. I mean, how often do you see a bright yellow case?
Fast forward after the receipt of this case 3 weeks ago. Drop the phone, and boom! Case is solid, but phone is not. The phone shattered, and back to my cell phone company the phone goes!
Good thing for insurance, but bad for my Otterbox. This is my 3rd Otterbox within the last 10 years. Its been a great brand, and it has been trusted for MANY years, but this particular style....THUMBS DOWN!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My phone lasted 1 week in this case. Dropped from 2 feet above the ground and my phone completely shattered. Thanks Otterbox.

A really frustrating situation to be sure, and we are very sorry to learn of the damage your iPhone 14 Pro sustained to its backside during what was a seemingly mild spill. Although distance can certainly play a role in whether or not something like this occurs, there are many other factors that have an influence as well, such as the angle and force of impact, and the type of surface the device/case combo makes contact with.
We do everything we can to make cases that will help limit the potential for such discouraging outcomes, but unfortunately, we aren't able to eliminate all exposure to risk. Our warranty won't be able to help with device repairs or replacement, but we would very much like to help get you a new OtterBox for a fresh start on that end of things. Completely shattered the back of my phone

Trust the other reviews and do NOT get this case!!! I had this case (and my phone) for less than a month and it slipped off the couch on to the laminate floors, MAYBE 2 feet, and completely shattered my phone. I had a Symmetry case on my iPhone 11 for years and never had an issue. There is definitely a serious defect in the camera lip on this case. Incredibly disappointed.

Perfect case to damage your phone

Began to fall apart less than a year after purchase. The sides of the case became loose and the adhesive holding the sides of the case to the back began separating, causing the phone to fall out of the case and become damaged. The adhesive holding the MagSafe pieces also separated and fell out.

Stains easily

I’ve had this case in the color “Don’t Even Chai” for 2 days and it’s already staining around the edges from putting it in my pocket. Other than that, I love the case. It’s lightweight, it feels like it will protect my phone well and it’s easy to get on and off. I’m just really dissappointed that it stains so easily.

Not worth it

I've used OtterBox cases for years, so I ordered this one when I upgraded my phone, and I'm SO disappointed. The edges are rough- it scrapes my fingers where I hold the phone and irritates my ear when I'm on a call to the point where it will be red and inflamed for a good while after I'm done. And, after two weeks of use the sides are discolored and look filthy. It has protected my phone after being dropped, but that's the only positive thing I have to say about it. Looking for something else to better suit my needs.

Shattered Back Glass on iPhone 14 Pro

I’ve always loved OtterBox products, but super disappointed with this case. It’s extremely difficult to get on and off the phone, which makes me wonder if the size is inaccurate and contributed to my cracked iPhone. I chose the symmetry case because it’s cute and although it doesn’t seem big and bulky, I believed it would protect my new iPhone. The case is slick and very thin, and unfortunately easily slips out of hands, pockets, or off of smooth surfaces. My phone slid off of my bed and onto the ground, and the back of my new iPhone completely shattered, including the camera. I’ve had this phone and case for less than a month, so I’m obviously very disappointed. I understand a case is no guarantee of protection, but I believe it should have done a bit more to protect the phone. I would encourage anyone viewing this case to consider something with more protection.

Flawed case left my phone shattered

I’ve always used otterbox products but the design of this case is flawed. The entire back of my phone is absolutely shattered from it being dropped with this case on it. You can tell by looking at it, that the blunt ridge around the camera actually caused MORE force on the back of the phone, as you can see that’s where the pressure was focused. I won’t be buying anymore otterbox products after this.
