POOR DESIGN - AVOID THIS CASE!!!

If I could give zero on this I would. I never will spend money on Otter again. There is something defective with the design on this case for the back of phone. I got a new phone a few months ago and decided to give otter a go and pay the higher prices. Dropped once and phone shattered on back. It started from the camera lens that apparently the case is not protective enough from when it lands on ground. The cover allos the lens to be flush with case which doesn't absorb any of the "shock" when hits a hard surface. The crack starts at lens,then runs down the back. Kind of like a chip on windshield that starts in one spot and then runs down further. DON'T PURCHASE THE SYMMETRY + FOR YOU IPHONE 14 PRO! POOR DESIGN!!!!

Do not buy unless you want a broken phone

Clearly I should’ve read the reviews before buying this case. I’m now joining the others with a cracked back. Never once have I ever had a phone crack while in a case!!

Do not purchase, does not protect

This case is absolutely not worth the price and does not protect the phone. The back of a brand new iPhone 14 Pro is shattered from a 3-ish foot drop. OtterBox puts their name on it (hence purchasing it at Verizon when we got the new phone), but there is actually no warranty because they “are not the manufacturer.” Why would we want a new case (at a cost) when this one was terrible to begin with? Absolute nonsense.

Very Disappointed

I’ve been purchasing otterbox cases for every new phone I purchase. I purchased the clear stardust case last December and I’m very disappointed that today when I dropped my phone the back shattered with the case on it.

Like the case but….

Love the color, the fit, seems sturdy, but the MagSafe is weak…

Thanks for the heads-up on the mysterious magnet issues you've experienced with the Symmetry Series+ case. This wasn't anything that caused concerns during our internal testing, so we'd be curious to know when the trouble is occurring and with which MagSafe accessories.
Unfortunately, it's a two-way street, and not all third-party products are made to the same standards. Certainly, this case should work with Apple's products, but we aren't necessarily able to guarantee performance with all of the other options available these days.

Worst protection

Nice case, great feel. I like that the edge is slightly higher than the front so the glass screen is protected and that the rim goes all the way around the camera as opposed to tapering off at the bottom the way a lot of other cases are made.
