can't swivel it

So to take as a "carry on, " you really have to carry it down the isle of the plane because it won't swivel. Bad purchase. Go with a carry on that has four wheels!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful Suitcase - Powerbank pocket specs

I purchased this suitcase because *I thought* mine was stolen 3 weeks ago. Got a call today that it's being returned, but I love this new one, so it's staying! :) My only gripe is with the powerbank pocket. I found ZERO guidance on what to get and the dimensions are a little small for the powerbank I purchased (OF course). Would be helpful if they would suggest powerbanks that fit in this suitcase, or at the very least, give the dimensions of the powerbank pocket..

As a former flight attendant I have always used Travelpro. I had my last bag (crew issued) for over 25 years and I was scared to upgrade.I was worried the quality would change from crew issued to bags strictly for business travel. I finally decided to take the plunge, keeping my last bag on Standby in case this one was not as good. I just took my first seven day business trip with my new Platinum Elite and this bag is AWESOME! I packed for all seven days with this bag. The well thought out layout had room for all my clothes, shoes and my laptop. In addition, the wheels are smooth and glide through the airport and the bag is lighter than my previous Travelpro. I am very happy with my purchase and plan to have this bag another 25+ years!

Best Purchase I’ve made as a traveler

I moved to Atlanta in 2011 as a Consultant, traveling 4 days a week- it was my first job out of school. The first thing I did was research rollerboards to find the best. Based on a number of reviews, the answer was the 24in travelpro crew 8. This bag has endured almost 9 years of four day a week travel and still works like it is brand new. The only thing I’ve had to replace was the handle that broke, but it was covered under warranty and has not given me any problems since. I wanted to give a testimonial to how great this product has been, and how reliable it has been throughout my travels. I’ve been through many shoes, work clothes, day packs, a few laptops and not to mention two jobs, but this bag endures. It’s rare to find such a great quality product these days, so I wanted to write this in hopes that travelpro continues to deliver high quality with its newer lines and to thank you for living up to expectations. Thanks travelpro!

I've been using this suitcase primarily for 3-5 day business trips and some weekend leisure travel. Very easy to pack. Dress shirts arrive at my desination unwrinkled. Even though it's within guidleines to carry-on, I've been checking it - very durable and still looks like new. Smooth rolling wheels and a comfortable handle make navigating airports and rental car parking garages easy.

I put up with some real annoyances on my old roller bag for 20 years...it just wouldn't wear out. When my wife purchased the big brother to this 22" roll aboard, I was so impressed with the quality I decided to finally upgrade. It's a great looking piece and I was easily able to pack everything for a two week trip using only this bag and a backpack. Great features kept me organized -- I could always get at what I wanted because it is so well organized. Super quality and ease of handling through the forced marches between airport gates make this the best bag I've ever had.
