Thermostat faulty

This unit has a thermostat issue that is common knowledge to Avalon. Instead of fixing it, they keep selling the units and then force you to buy a new one after it fails within 2 years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

DO NOT BUY - FAILED IN 14 MONTHS OF LIGHT USE

Filled with ice 14 months after i put it into operation. Contacted tech support, they had me buy new filters. Then they told me the unit had failed and was out of warranty and instulted me with an offer to take 15% off a new one. Thanks AVALON, you suck!
