Good bag

Overall I like this; however I wish the front compartment didn’t have the divider for the suites. It would be more functional if it was just a large compartment. Eat part is it’s only 2 wheels.

My last TravelPro Rollaboard is 30 years old. I haven’t used this yet, but have confidence that it was the right purchase. Love the burgundy color.

Appears well made, but after

Appears well made, but after first trip, I have the distinct impression that it has LESS space than my previous Platinum Elite. Appreciate the redesign to keep it from tipping over, a previous problem. System seems OK, but the suit keeper seems a bit more restrictive than the previous one.

Really Like TravelPro But Bring Back Changes Made to 22" Rollaboard!

We have had several TravelPro suitcases over the years. Generally hold up quite well, thoughtful features, etc. When it came time to replace my Crew 8 22" Rollaboard, TravelPro was the first place I looked. After buying and using, several comments. The previous dimensions and features were better in my view. The new 22" really is not 22" - the inside compartment now measures 21" and is a little deeper at the bottom and a narrower at the top. While the overall cubic inch storage may be similar, this layout, in addition to the expander feature not going all the way around on the top, results in less a smaller footprint and less efficient packing capability. I would gladly take a little more tip-over risk to have the old design back! It was the best!

I really like the build quality and the ease which the wheels roll. Also expansion of the pull handle is great.

Worth the Money

This is a wonderful bag. Although it may be slightly heavier on its own, the interior organization is so awesome and it holds SO much. Used it for a 9 day international trip with no issues. Very easy to roll and super smooth over any kind of city terrain (curbs, bumps, stairs). Will be bringing this with me everywhere! I did think I would miss having four wheels, but I did not!
The only thing I don’t love is that the leather accents are brown. Wish they came in dark blue for the navy bag.
Have yet to see how the warrant would work if I need it.

lighter than my old one but much more awkard to pack

This is a very good looking and sturdy piece of luggage. I bought it to replace a Travel Pro Platinum 5 that is at least 15 years old. I could pack that Platinum 5 in easily and quickly. It had a removable "suiter". The suiter on the new case is not removable and must remain attached to the case while it is filled. It cannot be pulled out to hang in a closet. The old case had 3 zippered sections. The large one folded completely open pretty much the way the main compartment opened. The new one is zippered on 3 sides. It can only be opened about 3 to 4 inches at one end. There are flexible panels along the edges that prevent it from opening further, which makes it very difficult to use for shirts. The outer most 2 zipped sections are not as deep as the old one. Finally when the designers added the power pack compartment, they eliminated the short plastic legs on that side opposite the handle.
