Remarkable Quality

material. I see it as a 1 night case for a woman, probably 2 or 3 night case for a man. I has several compartments for specialty items, such as a removable 3-1-1 TSA compliant clear bag. It also has a compartment for a power bank that connects to an outside USB port. Personally, it is not something I would use, but I can see how it would appeal to a business traveler. It says expandable, but I would not call it fully expandable. It unzips to expand on 3 sides, in a kind of triangular shape. It will give you a bit more room, but not much. When you open the case, the lid side has a fold out section for longer clothing. You then tri-fold it. It was a bit confusing because it has snaps, and a zipper. A little awkward for me. You can remove the folding board feature, and use this as it's own compartment. Although the wheels are smooth and easy to roll, this is not a spinner case. My thought is that this would be a superb case for a man or a business traveler. It would work well for those overnight business trips. Not enough space for a woman's needs. All in all, this is a great little travel case.

You can not go through a major airport without seeing Travelpro luggage. So when it came time to replace my old Rollaboard, I decided to take a closer look. Based on my research and in my opinion, the 22" Expandable Platinum Elite Carry-On Rollaboard ranks among the highest quality bags on the market today, no matter what brand it is compared against. The bag is light weight, well built, stylish, comes with a great warranty and I expect it will last a very long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This a great suit case. I travel to DC twice a month and had been using the next size bigger Travel Pro. It works well but is a little large for a 5 day trip. This case holds everything I need for 5 days in DC. I really like the folding system for shirts. It allows shirts on hangars to be packed and still fits in the top of the case.

After having durability issues with a previous "premium" brand I needed a quality replacement. I started to look around in the overhead bins to see what everyone else was using, how it aged, etc. I saw a lot of Travelpro in the airports (frequent flyers and crew) so I decided to give it a shot. I love the features; removable flap to minimize wrinkles in a suit and an external USB charger attachment). The fit a finish seems a step above the competition (at least my previous bag). After a few trips I am very happy with my Elite 22" Rollaboard and I expect it to hold up very well (I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for durability because Ive only had it for a few weeks!).

I bought this roller board because of the need to go on trips 5-7 days. Therefore, I need to maximize the capacity which is why I pick a roller board instead of a spinner. This 22" is actually 23" which hopefully will fit in the sizer in case the gate agent challenges me. Otherwise, the quality is as expected from Travelpro Elite series. The pockets are well designed and functional.

I put up with some real annoyances on my old roller bag for 20 years...it just wouldn't wear out. When my wife purchased the big brother to this 22" roll aboard, I was so impressed with the quality I decided to finally upgrade. It's a great looking piece and I was easily able to pack everything for a two week trip using only this bag and a backpack. Great features kept me organized -- I could always get at what I wanted because it is so well organized. Super quality and ease of handling through the forced marches between airport gates make this the best bag I've ever had.

Best Purchase I’ve made as a traveler

I moved to Atlanta in 2011 as a Consultant, traveling 4 days a week- it was my first job out of school. The first thing I did was research rollerboards to find the best. Based on a number of reviews, the answer was the 24in travelpro crew 8. This bag has endured almost 9 years of four day a week travel and still works like it is brand new. The only thing I’ve had to replace was the handle that broke, but it was covered under warranty and has not given me any problems since. I wanted to give a testimonial to how great this product has been, and how reliable it has been throughout my travels. I’ve been through many shoes, work clothes, day packs, a few laptops and not to mention two jobs, but this bag endures. It’s rare to find such a great quality product these days, so I wanted to write this in hopes that travelpro continues to deliver high quality with its newer lines and to thank you for living up to expectations. I bought this bag as a replacement for another TravelPro. I wish it was an inch wider, but I understand the restrictions by the Government. It is a good mid-priced bag, but if I had one knock on it (and previous TravelPro bags) it would be the zippers. They do not operate smoothly and the pull has a tendency to break off. My wife is a flight attendant so over the years, we have had many TravelPro products and it is always the zippers that are the weak spot. That being said, I travel every week, so maybe I expect too much.
