Known design flaw. what a shame.

What a horrible design that the “expanding” zipper stores directly, literally, directly, above the locks, so every single time you lock or unlock the suitcase, you have to move it out of the way and hold it to the side while you lock the main zippers. Other than that, it is amazing and very pleased with the set I bought. But this is a design flaw, and Travelpro knew it and yet left as is, knowing the customer woudl have to “just deal with it"

My luggage has proven itself with its ability, great looks, and mobility through five countries on this trip. Purchasing this luggage is a no-brainer. It will definitely make your life easy and look great. The combination of planes, trains and automobiles has proved it’s durability.

Worth the splurge

I had another travelpro for 25+ years. I only bought this one because I wanted 4 wheels (vs 2). I try to spend money wisely and this luggage is a splurge for me but it truly worth it. Dark grey color is awesome in person. Wanted something darker so as to not show scuffs from the airlines. I did not purchase the super large version because I don't think I could have lifted it to the car. This is a good size. And the handle on the bottom to help lift luggage up always makes me happy.
