My first Travelpro.

I just received my first Travelpro bag last week and traveled to Mexico along with a Victorinox that we've owned for a few years. It is a checked medium-size bag. I love the Travelpro because the configuration inside is very well constructed and thought out AND it is somehow quite a bit lighter and easier to handle and move with. It seems to be well-made, too. Very well done!

I wanted a soft sided

I wanted a soft sided zip rolling bag. I have a hardsided but it requires room to open. Unfortunately this is too big. The turquoise hard sided is the size i wanted. The 2nd photo shows my Travel-pro carry on bag vs the check in. It’s 2” too big.

We took our new bag on our trip to Sweden, and it was great! Wheels were very smooth, handles in the appropriate locations.

I have other Travelpro luggage and it is strong enough to survive airline handling, light enough to make it easy to use and good enough double wheels to make it easy to move through airports.

Too big and zipper not easy

I have a carry-on size TravelPro and I love it. I looked for the next size up. It is huge. Also one of the things I really liked about the carry-on is how great the zipper is. This one not so much. In fact, there's one spot that I wonder if it's not defective. It definitely has some weight to it.

Excellent piece of luggage

I decided to purchase new luggage after 20 years of using my beloved set. And I am so pleased with my decision to buy the Travelpro Medium Spinner. I chose this for my check bag as it met all my criteria: mid-size, lighter weight, rugged, 4 rollers, softside, handle on top and side, TSA lockable, and reinforced bottom. It had the additional advantage of a fabulous inside configuration with a place for my hung dresses, extra zippered compartments, and toiletries holder (waterproof bag). Full, it weighed 40 pounds which seemed heavy, but was made manageable with the side handle. My husband purchased a similar hard-sized Briggs & Riley for nearly twice the cost of this bag, and I prefer the Travelpro bag that I purchased.

So happy I bought this!

I bought this before going to Switzerland. Pushing luggage through the airports, train stations, cobblestone streets was a breeze. I had a carryon backpack on top of it and it was truly effortless. After 12 days of travel, luggage looks brand new!
