It’s a replacement and haven’t used it yet. But, I have a 30 year old roller board carry on from my working days. I still use it and it’s taken a licking and keeps on traveling!

Zipper broke after first flight

I really loved everything until I actually used it but generally what the heck the zipper breaking after one flight is insane for the price point of this luggage. I read so many reviews and just annoyed how fragile it is. And it’s a small thing right? Well now I only have one zipper to zip on my entire suitcase…

Bad experience!

I was very excited to get my new Travelpro suitcase. It was beautiful and seemed very maneuverable. However, trouble started immediately. On the eve of a 10 day international trip I packed the suitcase and then went ahead to set my lock code. I found the instructions to be confusing at best. The text was tiny and faint. But I followed the directions as best I could, and found myself LOCKED OUT of a full suitcase. I ended up having to cut the locks! But I still intended to keep the bag assuming the locks could be repaired. . until my return flight when the fabric was stained and TORN. See photos. I will also return the larger size which I have yet to use.

An excellent check-in bag. Lightweight, sturdy, good-looking and just the right size for a big trip. The suit function kept my dresses and blouses uncreased, and it can be removed when I don’t need it. Happy with this purchase and Travelpro service.

I haven’t even used this yet, but I’m tickled with everything about it! Good materials, superior rolling, nicely put together, and well made. I can’t wait to use it. I’d just gotten home from a trip to Japan with my old drag bag which was so hard to maneuver, I threw it away when I got home and ordered this!

I previously bought two items in the vintage gray. But I needed a new checked bag. Did a lot of research; looked at many websites; but was drawn back to Travel-Pro and their vintage gray line. So I bought the medium-size Platinum Elite bag. It is very well-designed and well-made. I love the fabric and the color. Everything is high quality; I especially like the substantial zippers. The bag has many features, some of which I don’t need, but overall it’s very functional. I can highly recommend it!

After using numerous brands of pricey suitcases, I have finally made the correct investment and love my two suitcases. I use one for carry-on on shorter business trips and the other one for longer stays. They are practical and have everything that I need in a suitcase.
