The soft materials seem strong and durable, addressing the usual issue with softcases. However, this makes the overall weight slightly heavier than other soft and hard case luggage. The compartment for hanging/folding suits and shirts is very useful for keeping them wrinkle-free and saves storage space. Also, the waterproof pouch keeps any liquid container from spilling all over. Another high point is the wheel — it feels smooth on any surface. Leathers on the handles are a nice addition to give a luxurious look — but I would like to have the matching leather tag included, too.
The medium size is good for a week of travel and some space for gifts and souvenirs. Expansion is also a feature that I want because we never know if we need extra space.
The Platinum Elite offers features and qualities similar to other premium luggage that is much more expensive. I’m happy with the purchase. Of course, many cheaper options are available, but the build quality is not comparable. This luggage would last a long time, if not a lifetime.

I am looking forward to using this beauty on an international flight in July.It is built for a serious traveler an includes a fold over section perfect for a suit or dress. Several handy sections and detachable compartments.

Excellent family suitcase

This suitcase is perfect for family trips. We have 2, one that will handle our family of 4 (2 small kids) for a long weekend and 2 for a full week.

THE WHEELS!

The wheels roll like butter. I made my whole family try rolling it on the hardwood floors at home, and even my stoic adult son who doesn’t get overly nor outwardly excited about anything gave it a roll and was like “Oooooh, nice!” I chose the burgundy color so it’s easier to spot on a luggage carousel. Nice quality luggage so far! Seems quite durable and not super heavy. I at first got the large version but it was oversized, so I ended up exchanging it for the medium. I wish they had one bigger than the medium but smaller than the large. I’m a chronic over-packer. The large would likely be subject to oversized charges due to the linear measurements exceeding the airline standards.
