Impressive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed with this vacuum. It’s easy to use - and I have been using all of the attachments throughout my home. It’s easy to empty when the compartment is full. My only complaint is that it has a cord. I prefer cordless, especially with my steps and multi level home.

So user friendly and excellent quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent the Shark Rocket Pro Corded Stick Vacuum with Odor neutralizer Technology by Influenster for my fair and honest review. I recently bought a different, much cheaper brand, corded stick vacuum. After trying this Shark Rocket Pro, I realize how flimsy my other stick vacuum is. The Shark vacuum is so well made and so easy to put together and take apart as needed to use attachments. I have 2 cats and purposely did not vacuum a few places just to show what this vacuum can do. The back of our recliner is where our cats nap daily. We have mostly laminate flooring so our baseboard area is where the cat hair gathers. Both areas are in the videos. It did a fabulous job and really gets up close to the baseboards. Very easy to maneuver, and not too heavy. Powerful and durable. The odor Neutralizer did a great job as well. After I finish vacuuming the furniture it smells clean. No fragrance, just smells clean. Definitely a 5 star product.

A great corded vac!

I currently have a cordless Dyson as my primary vacuum, so adding this Shark Rocket Pro corded machine to my lineup is perfect. It has a nice long cord for ease of use, has great suction power, and works well on both hard surfaces and the area rugs we have. I like the generous size of the dust collection cup as well. Overall I’m really pleased with this machine, and thank Influenster and Shark for the opportunity to test this out!

I have 2 messy kids and 2 giant dogs that shed extremely bad, so finding a good vacuum is extremely important to keeping my home tidy. Shark is my go-to brand and I already have a vacuum I use from them. I was hoping to find a light weight vacuum that was easier to carry up and down the stairs, as well as travel back and forth to use at my cabin. This Shark Rocket stick vac meets many of the needs I was looking for. It is super light and easy to carry. The roller pivots and manuevers so smoothly easily around furniture, and it also works really well with getting under couches and tables. Another positive is that the noise level on this vacuum is much quieter. I also really like that the controls are right on the handle and the words regarding the power levels are reversed to face the person cleaning. As far as storage goes, this vacuum will not stand upright for storage, and either needs propped up on something or the handle will need removed and placed on the storage hook on the base. This is not a negative for me, because it makes it easier for me to store in a cabinet or closet.
A con for me is that it is definitely not as powerful as my current vacuum and the canister is much smaller. I did a quick clean up around my living room only and the canister was already full and needed emptied before I could continue. The power and suction worked the best for me on area rugs and runners but was still quite effective on low pile carpeting.
I already recommended this vacuum to my mother, who is getting up there in age, due to how light weight it is and easy to maneuver around. It's definitely worth giving a try and I would recommend it.

Good vacuum but needs improvements

Pros:
1. Great versatility. I love that it lays flat when vacuuming underneath a bed or low rise table. I also like how easy it is to go from regular floor vacuum to stick vacuum.
2. Easy to clean. The dust compartment can easily be removed and emptied. The bottom bristles are also easy to clean with some scissors to cut the hair or strings and pull right off.
Cons:
1. Heavy. The top part with the motor gets heavy and if you don't have much upper body strength, this would not be for you.
2. Pushes dirt around. I mainly use this on hard wood floors and some small rugs and I find it does so-so with hard wood. I have to run by the same spot a few times because it doesn't pick up the dirt very well. With the high pile carpet function, the suction is very good and it is powerful.
3. Doesn't stand up by itself. It is top heavy and doesn't stand alone. I can lean it against a wall or counter but have to be careful to not let it fall over because it's a little unstable.
Overall, I gave it a 3 because there are better vacuums out there and it's just ok in my book. It did come with different attachments, shown in picture), but I honestly have tried them out to speak on them.

I’ve never been so excited to vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So after a couple of hand-me-down vacuums, I bought myself my first vacuum last year. It was also a shark stick vacuum, but a lower tier one. And I was pretty happy with it until I got this one. This is an incredible upgrade! It’s way quieter, more agile, and has a stronger suction. It’s ever so slightly more narrow so it fits in harder to reach areas in my apartment which is huge. The extensions are also smaller, which is perfect for targeting those crevices in the car, window sills, etc. I do have to empty out the canister often because, despite it being fairly large for a stick vacuum, it picks up a lot of tiny particles that my old vacuum wouldn’t. I also like how bright the lights are to ensure you don’t miss anything. They also included a light on the handheld portion so when you are just using that part you can still see anything that needs to be picked up. I also love the deodorizer. It seems to work as I don’t get that weird dust scent when vacuuming. But over time, who knows? You do have to replace the deodorizer every 6 months. Not sure how much the replacement is. All in all, though I got it free, I’m super impressed with this vacuum and see myself keeping it for quite some time.

Not good if you have multiple kids and pets!!

Finally got a shark vacuum and I'm so disappointed. If you have pets don't even bother. It gets clogged every single time I use it in multiple spots. It takes forever for me to vacuum because I have to keep stopping to unclog it. Don't waste your money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

And I really like this this vacuum. It's really lightweight and works great. Perfect for smaller areas and for vacuuming out my car. I would definitely recommend this product, because Shark has never let me down. Their products have always been great quality from my experience.
