Bad design in hose

bought 3 of these and everyone the hose cracked where it bends. Only way to fix it is replace the whole unit.

Oh My Goodness...Amazing Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The delivery driver dropped the Shark Vacuum off at my house arond 10:00 last evening. Upon unpacking it, I immediately vacuumed my living room carpet that I had vacuumed earlier. (It was simple to unpack and assemble!)
The pictures I'm posting shows what the Shark vacuum picked up...wow! I thought the carpet was clean but I was proven wrong. Needless to say, I vacuumed my entire house again and picked up even more dirt.
The swivel feature allows me to get under the cabinets and TV stand like a champ. The cord is super long so I can go from one room to another with ease. I haven't used the attachments yet; however, I believe they will do the job
The only suggestion I have is to place a kickstand on the vacuum so it will stand on its own and not fall over and get scratched.
This is an AMAZING vacuum!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This vacuum either has little suction or the roller bar is too high because it doesn't pick hardly anything up. The older Shark vacuums worked wonders. The newer ones are a complete waste of money.

old vs. new

We have had two Rocket vacs since our last move 9 yrs ago. Reading the comments from the new vacs points out they don't hang on the wall like our current vac...taking up floor space to store isn't a plus. The vacs have been great for us...the only other problem is the flex hose from the head to the tank...they both have split apart and I've had to put duct tape over the split to keep them working...so far so good. We want to get a new vac but I'm glad I read the reviews to see some of the pros and cons. My review from here down will be about our old units that both worked great for us over the years. So, I'm a current owner of a Rocket vac...just not the newest model. Sounds like suction problems may be something to read more about.

This is a strong little stick vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and I are both in love with this stick vacuum. It maneuvers so well on both my bare floor and rug. It’s light and easy to use. I like that it has a cord, it doesn’t run out of energy while I’m in the middle of vacuuming. We have four dogs, two of which are heavy shedders. I love that I can just grab this throughout the day to try and clean up some of their hair. My 17 yo son likes to vacuum with it as well. The Rocket Pro comes with three attachments: an anti-allergen dusting brush, a crevice tool, and an upholstery tool. I’m excited about the anti-allergen tool, instead of dust floating everywhere it now gets sucked up by the vacuum. This is a great machine all around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Shark Rocket Pro DLX Corded Stick Vacuum is great! I already own a Shark vacuum for downstairs that works great. Shark has been a name brand that I love and this stick vac fits right in! I got it for my upstairs area which consist of my bedroom and bathroom. Both are quite large. I was looking for a vacuum that I could just leave upstairs so I don’t have to keep going up and down with my bigger one. This this is great!! The cord is long enough to plug in the center of my room and vacuum both the bedroom and bathroom without having to unplug it. The suction is just as good as my bigger vacuum and the accessories make cleaning so much easier!

Very convenient design and good power

I bought this to replace the same item that had a broken mother board. The mother board got broken because it fell to the floor because it won't stand up on its own. That is the only problem, in my opinion, with this vacuum. No matter what I lean it against it will eventually fall over. They have added a hook (near the bottom of the machine so it hangs upside down???) That helps store it. The power is very good and I love that a forward facing light is built into the main housing so that with any attachment or configuration you use you still have light. The floor attachment is a little narrower than the older model.

Great Little Vacuum

So far so good. This vacuum is lightweight and easy to use. It has great power and easily cleans our hardwood floors and the few throw rugs we have. I love how light it is, I can easily grab it and clean a room in no time as I don’t have to change any nozzles to go from hardwood to carpet. So easy! I do have two minor issues. One is it doesn’t stand up on its own, which is easy to work around, just an annoyance. The other issue is that the accessories that came with it didn’t come with an onboard storage clip to attach them to the wand and I can’t seem to locate the correct clip for this model # on the website. I also hope to purchase the under appliance wand, but can’t tell from the information listed if it will work with my model #. The website feels hard to navigate in that respect. Other than that, this has been a great purchase and one I wish I had made sooner!
