The cooling pad fits my laptop perfectly! There is great airflow compared to other models I have used, and there is little noise to be heard unless one is in a quiet room. The design looks sleek and the pad is virtually unseen with the laptop on top. Works perfectly to fit my needs as a student at a desk, however I can't speak for those who travel with the thing. I have yet to have any mechanical issues with the pad. I would recommend this to anyone with the proper laptop size and a fat wallet. Yes, it has a large price tag, but it is good at what it does.
Pros: works well for right sized laptop, looks nice

Bought this for my compaq because it would die while burning my leg this works great sometimes i think it is not working but it is all my laptop accessories are targus and it will stay that way for a long time

The mat itself feels great on my lap, but that's about the only thing good about it. It didn't turn on at all right out of the box, so I am unable to comment on anything other than my frustration that it didn't work at all. I think part of the problem here is that there is no on/off switch to play with. I tried 4 different ports on two different laptops. The part of the cord that inserts into the mat feels a little loose, so the issue might be there. Either way, I am returning it promptly. I tried to save a little money with this one, but it definitely wasn't worth it.
Pros: comfortable
Cons: didn't work
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just recieved my Chill Mat and I love the quite sound of the fan and how my laptop cools in such a short time I've been using it.

just started using the chill pad. the thing i'm wondering is do you leave the usb plugged in or do you unplug when not using your laptop. thought it may automatically cut off but don't think so. i use it mainly at my desk. seems to be a good product so far. thanks so much

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this product for my 11 year old daughter. She always uses her laptop on the bed or couch and it was over heating. This chill mat worked great for that. It is very quiet and easy to use. Her laptop fits perfectly and it is not heavy. Glad I got it.

The like how the the two fans are spaced away from each other, its like in the prefect spot to help cool down your laptop. I like that the USB cord is short so you don't have to worry about long cords. When the fans are on you don't hear them at all. I would recommend this everyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a super convenient way to keep my laptop from overheating. It’s lightweight, and just plugs in from a USB. I have no problems with it sliding off.
The fans are slightly audible, but it’s so quiet I eventually forget that I can hear it.
Overall, this gives my laptop the thermal control that I need, especially when I’m sitting on the couch and not using a desk.
