I ordered this item because I do like the Vitamix brand. Even though it was 50% off, it appears to be poorly made. Both the top and the pusher are not the same quality as the original. To be honest, you are paying for the blade. If one could get a hold of a blade, you might be able to convert an existing container rather than spending 100-200 dollars.

We are glad to hear that you are a fan of Vitamix. We do not sell just the blades and we do not recommend anyone changing out the blades themselves for your own safety. Vitamix stand behind the quality of our containers with full warranties, covering all parts, performance, labor, and two-way shipping at no cost to you.
I’ve used it a few times already, makes my coffee even nicer in the morning as I “aer” my almond milk. I can’t wait to make coco whip, please share a recipe!! :)
I really debated about buying this I wasn’t sure if the price and having to store it in my kitchen was worth it. Well I was presently surprised how much I am using it. It’s become a daily staple mainly for instant flavored water. I toss in water, ice, cucumber, lemon, etc and thirty seconds later it’s done. This would make easy lemonade.
I am looking forward to trying the other recipes.
Pros: Programability, Texture Quality, Durability, Easy to use, Versatility, Recipe Enhancement, Product features
I am a diehard Vitamix user and have been for years. I bought the Aer and looked at the minimal number of recipes and find it lacking in important information. I would like to know how best to use it. It seems more geared to alcoholic beverages in mostly liquid form. I would love to have more detailed information on how to use this product. I am a raw vegan. I make sauces and puddings. For example, if I put avocado and very little liquid to make one type of pudding, which is very thick and hard on my big Vitamix, would it make a thick pudding without stressing it? But details please. I realize this is a new product, but really need more information please.
Thanks.

We have 28 recipes dedicated to the Aer Disc Container on our website for some great ideas. Please call 1-800-848-2649 for further assistance with your avocado pudding recipe. We'd be happy to further assist you. In the Aer Disc Container, liquid ingredients are pulled through small holes in the spinning disc, aerating and emulsifying them, while firmer ingredients like ice, fruit, and herbs are agitated but not puréed.
I love to make cocktails & have been struggling to make a nice Cosmo. The recipes on the website + this container made the BEST margaritas & pomegranate cosmopolitans! Worth the price.

I bought a bit over a month ago and i have not yet time to explore all the avenues it can create. Therefore, i have tried different latte and i luv it. Vitamix is the best investment I made for my kitchen...i will not go without it. One thing i am hoping they come up with is glass containers so the potent food would not stain the jars. namaste to all chef in the kitchen :) caroline

I started making my own mayonnaise earlier this year because I want to eat real food. I make mayo about once a week using the Aer and it comes out perfect every single time. I love it.
