I like the texture of blended liquids in this one

I am glad I got this container. Whenever I made salad dressings in the standard container it would splash and go all over. But in this Aer Disc container the liquids don't get splashed around but are sucked through the disc. I love it for salad dressings. Have yet to make smoothies in it but will when it gets warmer. We don't consume mixed drinks so can't speak to that either. But I am happy with my purchase.

Unlike a typical blending container, the Aer disc container acts like both a muddler and a cocktail shaker, extracting essential oils and juice, while at the same time chilling drinks without crushing the ice. Liquid ingredients are pulled through small holes in the spinning disc, aerating and emulsifying them, while firmer ingredients like ice, fruit, and herbs are agitated but not puréed. I feel sad that I used my certificate to buy it. Egg whites won’t whip. Cream won’t whip. I made it cold in the fridge and used it at winter kitchen temperature. The egg whites and cream were cold. Nothing. I made both twice.

Very few recipies included in the book, so far I’ve tried a few, for example the hot chocolate and it works wonderful, it gives you a consistency you won’t be able to achieve with anything else in the kitchen. My kids love it!

I didn’t know for sure how much I’d use this container, but I’m so glad I made the purchase! There are so many cool things I can do with this Aer Container...I’m loving it. I’ve made several recipes from the enclosed booklet that was included. I’ve made the Panna Cotta often, even for company. Everyone loves it! I’m not done experimenting and looking forward to many more great recipes to try and invent. Wish more recipes were available on the Vitamix website. Love the container!
