I’ve had this device for about 2 months now. Made some drinks, sauces, and lots of hot coco ...it’s really good at frothing and blending without destroying. However, I do hear odd grinding noises with it that I don’t hear from my normal blender container(64 oz classic). Also, there isn’t many recipes with this. So I’d recommend it if you liked drinks or sauces, but beyond that it hasn’t been incredible like vitamixs other ideas. I’m sure it will get better with time though. I would also say I’m not sure if I’d use this at a party because the blending and grinding noise I get from the container are really loud. I am happy I got it though and will use it for a long time.

I was excited for the aer disc container to make cold foam but I can’t get the consistency that I was hoping for. Also had an epic failure emulsifying. I have a feeling this container will sit unused most of the time.

It is important to use chilled non-fat milk to blend foam for beverages. We recommend starting the machine on speed 1 and increasing speed to Variable 5. Blending for 45 seconds should fluffy foam.

I bought the Aer disc container about a month ago. I love how it foams skim milk. Interestingly, it hasn't worked on other types of milk I've experimented with except skim and whipping cream. I have added a little sugar to the skim milk and got a thick sweet foam I've used on top of hot drinks for fun. It does take some getting used to the settings. It doesn't work to foam milk if the setting is too high.
I tried muddling a couple times. Will probably do more of that in the summer. The foam is what I bought it for. Wish there were more recipes available.

Love my new Vitamix, but the aer disc container whips my boring egg whites into a wonderful fluffy omelet with my vegan cheese melted in it! Look forward to breakfast every day now! I also use it to make my smoothies and it couldn't be easier! The aer disc container is a no-brainer to operate and to clean. Great item!

Somehow topping perfection

This container will make the best lemonade you've ever had. Put in some lemon slices (I cut circular slices in quarters so they don't loop around the disc). It kind of beats the juice out of the pulp but also beats the very aromatic citrus oils out of the skin so you get this +10 lemony flavour boost from the oils. It's very fast if you use agave nectar instead of sugar - I also like to add a pinch of salt the balance with the tart and sweetness. Putting in ice helps beat up the fruit and rapidly chills it. Add frozen pineapple if your want a tropical kick. It's fantastic for cocktails, mocktails, and even just making a batch of mixers for cocktails if you make a mixer that is good with various spirits. (I like to use fresh lemons, limes, and oranges for both margaritas and whiskey sours)
I actually got this container because it looked like it would be easier to make fresh mayo in than the 64 oz tall container and its certainly easier to get it out. I love making fresh mayo in this - its so much easier and faster. I just ordered the under blade scraper so I wont be waisting any emulsion.
Another great thing to use this for is if you make frittatas - it really aerates the eggs before you cook them so you get a nice fluffy frittata.

I recently purchased the Aer Disc Container to use with my Vitamix 7500. It is a great new accessary and I really enjoy having it to use in my kitchen.I find myself just looking for reasons to use it. It's just fun!
