Sleek, powerful multipurpose blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This newly designed Vitamix has a new sleek profile and some pretty cool built in features. Things I love are the built in programs that help you easily make anything from smoothies to nut butters, and also the pitcher is dishwasher safe!
The only (small) negatives are that it is extremely loud and if you don’t load up your ingredients in the correct order, it might take a second try to get it mixed properly. All in all though, I love it! This little guy has all the power of a commercial blender with the convenient settings of a home appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vitamix blender is a beast. I made a smoothie frappé type drink and it didn't skip a beat. I toss frozen fruits along with ice cubes, ice cream and milk. Plenty of power a d this thing has all kinds of modes to choose from with 10 modes. This thing also has add on accessories you can purchase.

Works like a dream! I’ve made milkshakes, frozen cocktails, soup, smoothies and all have turned out great. Machine is user friendly and easy to clean. All of the settings make it easy to use. My only “complaint” is that the tamper feels really cheap. For spending so much money it would have been nice to have slightly better quality tamper.

My wife absolutely loves this blender. This replaced our old Ninja. It has truly increased our horizons on what a Mixer can be used for. We made soups, smoothies, emulsions and plan on making full use of it as a resource during canning season.

Had a ninja personal blender and wanted to upgrade for various reasons, most notably it felt like I was going deaf using it every morning. The X5 is fantastic, absolutely quieter (can have a conversation next to it however not ideal). The presets work great. The only drawback I have right now was the cost but I plan to use this daily so it should end up working out.

I have use my X5 for a year now. I must stay I have up grade my last rating from a 3 star to a 4. its not because of the preformance The issue is still with dail. Outside of that we make our own Nut butter, Non dairy milk, soups, and smoothies. The power of the X-5 is what you need to handle these hard task.
