Perfect for my small business

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely easy set up took me about 5 minutes from Start to finish to set up the printer. Crystal clear prints and copy's no blurry colors or uneven printing. Also I printed 100 pages with colors and black and white and it took less than 6 minutes to print all 100. I am extremely impressed with this printers capability and being compacted is a bonus it fits perfectly on my dresser makes almost no noise while printing and coping

Great new printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my HP DeskJet 4255e printer and got it set up. I know it's set up was easy, but I had my 19 year old grandson come over to help me. He's much better at doing stuff like this than I am.
Anyway I love this printer. I've been having so much fun learning about it. So far, it is amazing. One of my favorite features is the instant ink. It knows when I need ink and will send it before I need it. I've printed pictures and they come out so nice. As good as getting them printed in the store.
I've printed photos, recipes, cute cartoons, and instructions. Take time to learn the printer and try different features. It does everything I need it to and then some. I'm still learning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new printer arrived well packaged, and it contained all the paperwork I needed to set it up. I was surprised at how easily the ink cartridges popped into their holder! Everything worked flawlessly as I set up the printer to work with my computer. When I tested it, the copies were very clear and the quality of ink was great. The best part of this HP Deskjet is all the features. It has a scanner, a large capacity document feeder, and can print both sides of a document. I'm very pleased with the performance of this all-in-one printer!

Fast and Efficient! Setup Issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try out this new HP DeskJet 4255e to replace my old HP Envy printer. Upon my first impression, it was well packaged and looking great. It was larger than I expected, but very lightweight and easy to move around.
Once I plugged in the printer, I noticed that a blinking white light alerted me that more steps were needed to connect and setup the printer, but not much easy indicated what to do. I looked over the quick start reference guide that came with the printer and noticed I would need to download the "HP Smart" software to set things up. This was NOT easy and the software crashed several times after I downloaded it and tried to set up the printer. I had to power cycle both the printer and laptop a few times, then use the HP Print and Scan Doctor software from the HP website to diagnose the issue. Next, I downloaded a basic driver software package from the HP website before the doctor software would recognize and connect to the printer. After all of this work, I was able to set up the printer swiftly.
I test printed after everything was set up and the ink cartridges installed. The printer was very fast and the printing results were very satisfactory for a home printer. I would give the printer 5 stars, but the convoluted and difficult set up process forces me to lower the ranking to 4.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

User friendly and efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Printer is easy to setup, no need to connect to computer using cables! You can use any device like cellphone,iPad or tablet to install the HP app, All you need is Bluetooth/wifi connection. Another nice feature this printer provides with the wifi connection. The setup is pretty easy and self explanatory. I like that I can print,scan and copy all in one function. This printer comes with two ink cartridges included and offers a 3 months of ink free by subscription at HP smart app.
A few features that this printer has , besides the original paper tray loader. It comes with a top documented feeder. This feature makes scanning documents more accessible and easy to load and scan. My kids also like the ease of use and the quality of the ink is good, vivid colors and no bleeding of ink. This printer is great for home use and small business.

The color and lines are sharp and clear. I used the printer a lot and this printer is just I need. After everything is setup, I could print from my computer or phone as needed. Fast and easy. Cool product and I would like to recommend it to my frineds.

Upon opening and installing, it was lightweight and user friendly with easy to follow guides from computer/cellphone apps. The printing quality on a scale of 1-10 would rate 9/10 as it was almost perfect every time. Easy, speedy, crisp and sharp are just a few descriptive words that describe my experience relating to the quality of the HP DeskJet 4255e printer.
