Thar she blows!

We love the fan. Love the blue color. Love the gentle wafting of invisible air through the marvelous aperture with no blades to muck up the design and function.
It would be nice if it were quieter on the higher modes but the sound is not what I would call obtrusive.

Fan of a Great Fan

This is, as was the previous Dyson, a great fan. It even quieter than the previous model. The air flow is so smooth and even, even at full speed. You may not like the price, but you will love the fan. There are cheaper copies ou there, but that is all they are, cheaper. Their performance doesn't even come close. The only reason I replaced the previous model is because it got crushed. This AM07 is the greatest, the previous model was just great. Small distinction,

Loud but effective

We purchased this fan to cool a bedroom area of approximately 160 square feet. We must say that on setting 9 the "little fan that could" thought it was a jumbo jet engine trying to take off! The sound was so loud that we had to turn the setting down to 6. However, even at 6, this fan cools the room to a chill point that makes us scramble for blankets!. All in in all the price, although a little steep, is still totally worth owning this fan.

I was very excited to receive my tower fan. It was very easy to assemble & the remote is a clever idea. The different speeds it has on it & its ability to be on a timer is great.

One cool fan

My Dyson tower fan has been put through the test and came out on top. Being able to adjust the speed and set the timer is such a great function. I haven't turned my air conditioner down since I got my Dyson. I turn the Dyson on level 5 with the timer at 3 hours and fall asleep. No need to wake up and turn it off.....the timer function is great. I would recommend this to anyone, and it is so easy to take care of. No blades to worry about. Buy one and find out for yourself.

Disapointed on some levels

This fan looks so cool, but seems to be very flimsy. I miss having switches directly on the fan, as well as on the remote. It does have an on off switch, but it is on the floor, have to lean over or use your toe to operate it. It is very noisy compared to the fan I planned to replace it with, which was a tower fan a bit taller than the Dyson. For the price I paid, I expected better quality, less noise, and a sturdier construction.
I am not totally unhappy with the fan, it does move the air. I love the looks of the fan, but for the price it does not seem a good value.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dyson once again lives up to reputation

I purchased a dyson ball vacuum and loved it. I hoped this fan would be half as satisfying. I was wrong this fan was as equally impressive and the dyson brand continues to out due others. Definitely worth the price!
