We use the fan in a room without a ceiling fan and that requires an electrician to wire the room for one. The tower fan is quiet and does what we expected: circulate air.

This is the best fan I have ever bought! You can adjust the speed to your preferred setting. Its way easier to clean and keep clean! It is well worth the price!!!!

I wasn't shopping for a fan. I was in a store and couldn't tell where the nice air source was; it was blowing gently on me, with a sound which wasn't fan-like. When I realized that it was a Dyson Air Multiplier, I had to have one.
I was so right. It is the perfect air machine: quiet, unobtrusive, continuous air aimed wherever you want it. It simply isn't a fan. It reminds me of experiencing the air coming off the ocean in Hawaii. Simply not a fan.
You'll see.

Quiet as a whisper

We purchased this fan to cool our bedroom, where the ceiling is just low enough to discourage the installation of a ceiling fan. At settings 2, 3, or 4, the fan generates a quiet, natural breeze. Yes, at the highest setting, 10, the airflow is audible, but we won't likely use that setting for any extended period of time. The quiet, high-tech design, aesthetics, and effective airflow make this the best fan on the market for us. We're perfectly pleased!

Love this fan. Easy to clean vents. I am using it down a long hallway on 10 the air also goes into the two bedrooms at the end of the hall. I love the design and colors of this fan..I find the blue color to be appealing..this makes my 10th dyson fan with small grandchildren these are the only fans to own.
