I verified its readings with an independent humidity sensor, and the unit consistently matched the actual room conditions. The automatic shut‑off feature when the humidity reaches the set point is a great energy saver, and I appreciated how efficiently it ran. Such a relief! Finally, my basement is dry and fresh! Originally, I purchased the smaller tank, but I later upgraded to the 80-pint size. When I first turned it on, the basement was no longer humid and odorous. A larger tank also helps significantly.

Great for cooler environments

Works great for my finished basement about 800 sq ft with 3 open spaces. Had a problem with other models not working well in cooler environments but the Waykar CTH150PA has done a great job.

I purchased this a few weeks ago and it looks little compared to my last one, however it works amazing! The bucket is a lot smaller so it fills quicker, but it's not as heavy for me to carry. It works perfectly and I am very happy with my purchase.
