I’ve had this unit for a few weeks now. I was happy to find a reasonably-priced dehumidifier that is USA made. So far it is doing a great job. My older unit would struggle to keep the basement humidity level down. On extra humid days I would run two units together. With this one there is no need. Been holding a steady 30-31 percent humidity, sometimes lower. I keep it set on high speed and it is super quiet. It makes about as much noise as a pedestal fan. Also impressive is the fact that it throws off little to no heat. Every other unit I’ve had has blown a lot of hot air into the room. My only gripe is the power cord is way too short and does not reach a high-mounted outlet that would often be found in a basement utility room. I had to raise the unit about 16-18 inches from the floor.

Purchased this to replace our old whirpool dehumidifier. So far so good, its quieter than expected and I appreciate the option of the drain hose and bucket option. It works very fast to remove unwanted moisture!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a workhorse type humidifier for my basement. This one works great on the continuous setting. It runs nearly 24/7 and only stops when it reaches the low humidity setting I entered.
