It’s been working very well until now, pump runs but doesn’t empty tank

Dear Customer,
Thanks for purchasing Waykar dehumidifier and sharing your experience.
We are sorry for causing this confusion. Regarding the situation you mentioned: A small water pump and float switch are built into the water tank to monitor the water level. The pump will automatically work and drain water through the pump hose only when the water level reaches the designated high-water level.
We hope this answers your question. If you have any further questions about this model, please feel free to contact us at support@waykar.com.

Have had new HVAC 6 months and this is first summer with it. Humidity was 74%. Installer claimed cause was ductwork, but old unit had never over-condensed. HVAC installer said we could modify ducts or get condenser. Both options were very $$$$. So I took chance on this Waykar unit. We've had it 1 month with 0 issues. Drains directly into HVAC drain and it stays on 24/7. Humidity problems from over-condensation gone! Humidity down to 48%,. Perfect! I highly recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product- it does what is says, and will make your house feel better and more comfortable The pump feature is a definite plus-.
I bought this humidifier to control high humidity in my basement. It’s quite effective and efficient. I used both tank and pump and it’s been working great so far. Bring down the humidity very fast.
