Does the job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little waffle maker. It made crispy waffles that tasted great with just the basic pancake waffle/mix. I do wish the plates could come off so it was easier to clean because that is kind of pain. This also does not have a timer so you have to be careful and keep an eye on it so they don’t burn. Overall a good unit though and does the job well!

Great Belgian Style Waffle Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach Belgian Style Waffle Maker is a great product. It is very simple to use. The power and preheat light indicate when the waffle maker is ready for the batter. It heats up quickly. My family says the waffles come out delicious. There is a waffle shade slider to adjust to your liking. The waffles are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. You can make 2 thick waffles at a time. In addition, the waffle maker is compact as the 2 compartments lock together and it can be stored vertically in my cupboard. Highly recommended in my household.

Great Tasting Waffles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Hamilton Beach Belgian Style waffle Baker. It makes great tasting waffles quickly and it's compact in size so it doesn't take up too much room on the kitchen counter. Don't let the small size fool you. This waffler baker makes 2 normal size waffles that come out crispy on the outside, yet soft and fluffy inside. The nonstick interior heats up quickly. Simply plug in and within a few minutes the green light comes on indicating it's time to add your favorite waffle batter. The shade selector on the front makes it easy to customize how light or dark your waffles are. You may have to experiment a few times adding the battery to get it just right. Too much batter will result in the batter leaking out of the machine, and not enough batter will result in the waffles on coming out completely full size. Easy to clean and easy to store. Perfect for kitchens with limited counter space. Great for dorm rooms or even the work breakroom.

Perfect Waffles

This maker is amazing quality and so easy to use. We used it the other night to have a family waffle dinner and everyone loved them! It made them very fast and perfect quality and we would definitely recommend this maker!

Restaurant worthy Belgium Waffles at home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] . My husband complains if his waffles aren’t crispy. Our regular waffle maker never makes crispy waffles. I love ordering Belgium Waffles at a restaurant. With this Belgium waffle maker we get crispy waffles. I use the Belgium Waffle recipe with yeast from the Better Homes and Gardens New Baking Book. Real Belgium waffles are made with yeast. It makes a lot of batter that keeps well in the fridge. This recipe takes a little longer to bake than if you just use a regular waffle recipe, but very worth the effort. I use an old pastry brush swished in Crisco to grease the waffle iron plates and only for the first batch. Make sure to wait until you don’t see any more steam before opening the iron. Top of the waffle never browns as much as the bottom part. When I plate them I turn them so that the nice brown side is up. I’ve had to cook hubby waffles every day since we got the iron! It stores so easily if you put it on end. I use my fork to gently lift the latch and upper part of the iron. I let the lid drop once and the batter slopped out; I just used my kitchen sponge to wipe it off the iron while it was cooking and it came off very easily. There are so many toppings for Belgium Waffles and not just for breakfast. They are great as a base for Ice Cream or fruit desserts also. I think I'll try making Eggs Benedict using the waffle instead of an English muffin. My iron is the steel and chrome one. The length of the cord is just right for my counter top space. I like that this size is great for taking along in our RV when we travel or go camping.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the stand up storage feature. It has adjustable heat so I can dial it in to my liking. The finish is stainless and blacks plastic which fits in with my refrigerator and my stove. I would reccommend starting at half power to get used to the heat settings. Overall it's a great Belgian Waffle maker. I like it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heats up very fast but even on low it burns the waffles. Ive tried it 3 times and got the same results. Maybe there is a problem with this one product I received. Its very nice and stylish. I just wished it would have worked properly. I love all of my other Hamilton Beach precious so I just think this was a one time thing.
