Not sure it isn't faulty

Used for the first time & it kept making a loud popping sound & jumping in the air. Is this normal or do I have a faulty iron? Waffles were good on first batch- burnt on third batch even when I turned it to low. Love the size & design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love Belgian waffles so they were very excited when this arrived. It is easy to use. The style is nice, I like the size of it and love how it’s so compact. My only complaint is that i wish it was easier to clean. It would be nice if you can just take the plates off to wash them. Would recommend to a friend.

Perfect for smaller groups

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the perfect waffle maker! The first thing I loved is how compact it is. It's not clunky and I really love that. It has the heat adjustment so if I want slightly browner waffles I can get exactly how I like it. One thing annoying thing with waffle irons can be the clean up. You get caked on waffle and it's just messy. This was not my experience. It's non stick surface meant an easy clean up and storage. Great product!
I would recommend this to a friend!
