TDS tester reads 430 ppm!

Replaced filter, bled the system and my TDS tester still read 430ppm! This is unacceptable! My previous home RO system was .025 ppm.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for reaching out regarding your experience with the Samsung HAF-QIN filter. I understand you're concerned about the high TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) reading, especially after replacing the filter and bleeding the system.

It's important to note that the Samsung HAF-QIN filter is designed for Samsung water filters to meet NSF/ANSI standards 42, 53, and 401, ensuring a reduction in various contaminants from your drinking water, including chlorine, lead, mercury, and emerging contaminants like pharmaceuticals., but it may not reduce TDS levels to the extent that a reverse osmosis (RO) system does. RO systems typically produce much lower TDS readings, operating on a different filtration principle designed specifically for TDS reduction.

Faulty Filter

First few filters functioned fine. The last filter was faulty causing water to leak inside the fridge. Hoping to be offered a replacement at the very least

Poor compatibility guide

The website says this is the one for an RS25H5111**. I have an RS25H5111SR. It doesn't fit. This filter is square and the slot in mine is round. This needs to be corrected.

Outstanding water filter cartridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung water filter cartridge for my Samsung Ai Bespoke 4 door french door refrigerator it top notch. It filters out all the bad stuff you don't want in your water with ease. It is compatible with many of the Samsung refrigerators so it makes replacement so easy. It is super easy to replace the old filter and does not require using any special tools or expertise. Made of high quality materials so you know it will be reliable. I love that it has a capacity of months so no need to replace that often. I would highly recommend this Samsung water filter.

Seems Prone To Leaking

I purchased a genuine replacement filter using the Samsung Subscription Service. The filter replacement seemed easy enough...unscrew the old filter and screw in the new filter. I did this in the evening and at the time everything seemed ok. I woke up the next morning and my kitchen AND Basement was flooded. Several thousands of dollars in damage. When I removed the new filter I installed I could tell the water was dripping from the plunger/nozzle on the filter housing. Not enough to give any warning at the time of the replacement of the filter. As evident with the numerous bad reviews there seems to be a design flaw or just plain bad engineering with the filtration system. I would highly recommend staying away from Samsung Refrigerators.
