Turn the water supply off

If you turn the water off going to the ice maker it takes the pressure off the line and it makes it so much easier to change the filter
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

filter fits fine However, the Reset button

i put the filter in and that fit fine. i went to reset the filter light - hold reset button 3 sec. nothing, it will not reset. text support said: ?unplug it (or turn off power at the circuit breaker), wait some time for the electrical charge to clear out of it (usually 1 to 5 minutes at most), and then power it up again."
that does not seem right. i have to pull the refrigerator out and unplug.? really
after chatting the rep said to hit the lock button for 3 seconds. ok i tried hitting the lock button and then hitting reset. guess what that worked. remember to hit lock again.
the owner manual should have stated this and not waste my time researching the issue and going through the chat. at least that worked.

Doesn’t work with RO water systems.

I have a reverse osmosis water system attached to my sink. This filter had to be removed in order for my water and ice to work in the fridge. Not enough pressure.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No problem installing filet

I've had my samsung bespoke for a few years. I get the water filters automatically sent. I was worried when I first got the fridge bc of so many complaints about the water filter. I have never, ever had a problem installing the filter. The water always tastes great.

I assume it does its job. However this was the most difficult package to open. Scratched up my hands trying to get it out of the plastic. Are you vying for some sort of award for the hardest package to open? If so, you win!
