[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While battery tools are great, they have a very limited run time. This blower, chorded, will run as long as I need. The vacuum allows leaves to be mulched and bagged, without having to bend over to pluck up the leaves and physically place them into a bag.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A little to heavy, since I have shoulder problems, I also got the small size and without the attachments, but does not blow hight enough
Had this for 3 years now. The only good thing it has going for it, is it has a metal impeller. Everything else on it is just a complete poor design. The way the Vac. pipe tapers down, and then flares open again just leads the unit to clogging up constantly if you are in any amount of leaves. The unit isn't even powerful enough to suck up pinecones. As well, the egronomics of the un it are horrible if you are less than 6'4" tall. you will find you are constantly carrying the unit , but it will give your biceps a good workout ! As well, in three years, we have replaced the bag every year, due to it constantly ripping right where it connects tov the unit. It starts ripping by the 3rd bag full, and then I end up trying to patch and re-enforce it with duct tape for the rest of the year!! It is also very loud compared to many others out there, and the design of it tends to put the motor unit "in your face" unlike other models where its down at your side. As well, this unit requires 2 hands to operate in Vac mode, unlike most that are one handed operation like this is in blower mode.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are disappointed to hear that the Ultra Blower Vac has not met your expectations and appreciate you providing us with your feedback about your experience and the product design. While the air stream clears debris, sticks and large, heavy leaves, please keep in mind that this model is intended to vacuum only dry leaves and soft items. Hard items such as sticks, rocks, acorns, and pine cones will damage the impeller. For additional information and other helpful tips, please visit Toro.com/parts for the model specific operator manual.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it mainly for the vac portion since I have a fence along patio. Makes it very easy to pick up leaves, etc after a storm event or just falling leaves. The vac works very good and it mulches the leaves so there is no need to empty the bag very often. Does exactly what I wanted it for. The only draw back is it’s a little bulky but the performance makes up for that.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second Toro blower I’ve owned. The first one lasted over ten years with plenty of use. Just used the new one. Worked great. Would definitely recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the past 20 or so years we have had a Toro Blower Vac I liked it so much that when our old one just stopped working we bought a new one just like the old one. It is awesome!
