I've used this blower twice now on a smaller area about a 15ftx40ft patio and it worked really well, it didn't lose any power at all and wasn't too loud either. I'm yet to test it on my driveway which is much larger but I have faith it will get the job done. I wouldn't suggest this blower for areas much greater than a quarter acre since by the time you buy enough extension cords you would have been able to purchase a gas powered blower. Looking forward to using this product for many years to come.
Have just bought it and have only used it for part of the afternoon. It seems to have decent power but I haven't been impressed with the variable speed control; it skips from medium to high speed too easily.
I have had at least three of these blowers and every one has had the same issue with the variable control/on off dial. This is the weak link of the product. Every one of the blowers had to be replaced within the warranty because the switch cannot be repaired or ordered. Other than this one issue, I find the blower very powerful and easy to use. A great product except for the switch. Fix that poor item and it would be almost perfect!
It's my first blower but already I am completely impressed. This thing has so much power that I have to turn it down. The leaf mulcher works great. I was so impressed that I went out and bought another Toro without a cord. I got the 20 Volt cordless. Now I have the best of both worlds. Thank you Toro
I have only used this unit once, and I can tell you it has the most uncomfortable bag design I have ever seen--It works great, bu I forsee alot of stiff backs from trying to get comfortable with the leaf bag.
Pros: sucks like a french woman on bastille day
Cons: the bag design, the speed control is not very finite, the plastic zipper will fail soon--buy a spare rig
