The vacuum sucks poorly.

Vacuum clogs too easily. Can't pickup small seeds from my yucca plant. Can't pickup a lot of light weight things that my gas powered craftsman could. Very disappointed. Will be donating to the thrift store.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We appreciate you rating your Ultra Leaf Blower Vac, and hope the following is informative. The impeller is designed to chop only dry leaves and soft items, according to the owner's manual. Yucca seeds are likely too fibrous, leading to the clogging you're experiencing. You can access the full manual at Toro.com/Manual.

Just purchased my second Toro Ultra. Last one was only a few years old and I only used it 3 months a year. The ON-OFF switch no longer functioned. I could regulated the speed, but could not turn the power OFF. Had to keep plugging and unplugging to turn off and on. I use a heavy duty power cord for outside machines. I had called Toro but was told without a receipt nothing could be done. Therefore, today I finally splurged & purchased another Ultra. Hope this one lasts. However, the salesperson where I purchased said the same thing happened to him. He also got another one. The reason I purchased same product is because it is much lighter weight than other brands.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We understand you have just purchased a new Ultra Blower Leaf Vac. With proper maintenance and care, your machine will last. We recommend checking the extension cord frequently during use for holes or cracks in the insulation. Do not use a damaged cord. Do not run the cord through standing water or wet grass. Ensure that the bottom inlet cover or vacuum tube is locked in place. Ensure that the power cord is secured in place at the back of the appliance and that the plug is fully seated, if you do not fully seat the extension cord on the inlet plug, or if the plug and cord do not fit firmly, the loose plug could lead to overheating and cause fire, possibly burning you or others. We also recommend inspecting the Impeller Blades for any signs of damage.
Your machine has a 2-Year warranty that protects against all manufacturing defects. If you are ever in need of an inspection on your machine, please feel free to contact an Authorized Service Dealer. You can view our extensive list of dealers at Toro.com/locator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a gas blower but never had much success with them after a couple years use. I purchased this one and used it only a few times but when our house was flooded in IDA and stores and rental places were out of fans I pulled this out, shoved it between the concrete floor and the overlay flooring and used it to dry the bottom of the plank and the surface of the concrete. With the floor still mostly intact the wind from the blower picked it up with an air cushion and got rid of the dampness. I ran it for 5 days straight and it took the damp smell out and everything was dry. The window AC took in a lot of water so after a few more days it was dripping in and running over the last portion of floor I dried and started to smell again. I took out the AC and started the blower again. It ran for two more days before it gave up the ghost. I would definitely purchase again and suggest it to others. I have not had it for leaf season yet so I cannot speak to it's abilities there. But it certainly took a beating by me. I never thought it would run that long continuosly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Toro leaf blower replaced my previous Toro leaf blower that lasted me thirty plus years. So my choice for my new leaf blower was going to be what gave me the reliable an best job for blowing leaves over the past thirty plus years. An that was the new Toro Ultra Leaf Blower Vacuum. The new Toro leaf blower churns out a mix nozzle speed of 260 mph where my first generation Toro leaf blower had a nozzle speed of 220 mph. I'm more than impressed by the improvements that Toro has made over the years since i put my original first generation Toro leaf blower an its a lot quieter too! So I would definitely recommend the new Toro Leaf Blower Ultra to anyone looking to purchase a leaf blower for this falls leaf blowing season.
I used the blower vac only a few times and the knob switch quit working. I have to unplug the vac to turn it off. It's under warranty, but the closest authorized service facility is an hour away. Don't have time to make one or more two hour round trips to get it fixed.
