[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well designed, rugged, easy to use, powerful. I have a difficult yard to clean leaves. This unit made my work less stressful.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I've only used the new Ultra blower/vac a couple of times. I has performed far beyond my expectations. Switching between blower and vac operations is far easier that on my previous blower/vac. Today, I vacuumed a yard full of leaves and I just couldn't believe how fine it ground them. Even emptying the bag is so easier. I am much more than pleased with this product!
Fantastic value that is very well designed and a pleasure to use.
Blower is *just* powerful enough to do my drive, deck and the garden. Slightly longer job that my big heavy noisy gas backpack - but so convenient with this light, quiet-ish, electric, hand held tool. My 5 year old grandson tried it out (heavily supervised for 2 minutes) and could do the job if I let him (which I wont). THEN I turned it to the leaf compressor and it sucked up all my piles and neatly bagged them. Fanatastic. Design makes switching really quick and easy. For the flower beds and edges I didnt even bother blowing - just sucked them all up. I havent had it long enough to determine reliability but if it fails I would replace it at this price.
Works well, may not last past the warrantee period

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Toro Blower Vac. I mostly use it to vacuum and shred maple leaves. It does a good job picking up leaves and tearing them into smaller pieces, but raking is faster. The main advantage over raking is that it reduces the volume of the leaves to about a third which makes composting them or disposing them much easier. Based on my experience with my first blower, I would not expect it to last more than a couple of years.
Pros: reduces leaf volume, shredded leaves compost well, best of electric blower/vacs
I wanted a leaf blower/vacuum that would make it easier to do fall clean up. This item was recommended by a friend and I am very pleased that I purchased it. It is powerful and easy to use. I like the adjustable speed. As a senior citizen I like the ease of use.
The blower part of this works really well. Powerful and can push large piles of leaves all around. As a mulcher, anything other than dry leaves and the unit clogs. Wet leaves are terrible and even little twigs will clog the unit. Also, after slightly more than 2 years, the unit has shorted out 2 of my electrical cords. When I called Toro today they had no advice other than buy a new one or take it to a service center. When I called the service center the guy laughed and said they get calls on these all time. I'm a couple months outside of the 2 year warranty.
Pros: leaf blower, ease of use
Cons: mulching, electrical short

We thank you for your response. To avoid shorting out any cords Toro recommends using an extension cord no longer than 150 feet with a gauge rating between 12 and 14. Toro offers multiple support videos. The following link will provide customers with tips to get the best performance out of blower/vacs and string trimmers- https://www.toro.com/en/customer-support/help-center-yardtools#tipsblowerandtrimmer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This leaf blower works great. It is twice as good as an older blower I had. It works just as well as my neighbors small gasoline powered blower without the hassle of gas and oil. I will definitely recommend this blower to anyone looking for a blower. The price is great.
Pros: multiple nozzles is a grear feature.
Cons: the cord holding slots are quite tight for a 12 ga
