Switch problems still persist

This is my second Toro model 51619. The first had problems with the longer cord and finally the wire broke. The second worked for about 3.5 years and then the switch became non-functional. I used it only for blowing and expected longer service. I tried to activate the switch by pushing the small button on the underside, but that worked for only about a half hour, when the motor stopped again. Toro help desk was not too helpful in resolving the issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love everything except the bag. Have to replace every year. Zipper does not hold up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a large yard surrounded by a forest. Raking the extraordinary amount of the leaves each year is a huge project. I cannot believe how much easier the job is with the Ultra Leaf Blower. I don't usually review products, but this made things so much easier for me. I wish I had bought the blower a long time ago.

Do not recommend

We bought this blower on 2-9-2020. We used the blower very minimally (once every couple months) and today (2-27-2022) we plugged it in to use it and it no longer works. Just over 2 years and the blower doesn't work!! Unbelievable. Last Toro product we will ever purchase.

When using as a blower, the bottom inlet cover must be locked in place for the motor to turn on. For the vacuum feature, the same is true for the vacuum tube. We suggest checking these safety features, in addition to making sure the extension cord is fully seated. You can find this information and more in your owner's manual by going to Toro.com/Manual.
If these tips don't get the tool operating again, you have the option of taking it to an Authorized Service Dealer for inspection. A list of dealers in your area can be generated by visiting Toro.com/Locator.

Doesn’t work

I bought this blower early last fall and it didn’t even make it through the whole season. By the end of November it had stopped working. It just doesn’t turn on. When it worked it was great but I’m so disappointed in the poor quality.

Zipper on bag broke after 1 month

I bought this last Fall and haven't had for a year. The zipper on the bag split open and now I can't use the bag nor use this for the vacuum that I bought it for. It has a 2 year warranty but I can't find where to get a new bag. IT worked well until the bag issue.
