Despite my dissatisfaction with 2 prior Toro blower/vacs, I purchased a third, for the weight and general overall quality. The control on each of the prior ones was not satisfactory and I can only hope this one is an improvement.
Pros: weight
Cons: the clip to switch from blow to vac is very stiff

This is my second purchase of this product. The first one still works but the speed control no longer; it cannot be shut off or adjusted. It would be nice if Toro made a replacement part.

It's quieter, more powerful and has a metal propeller: all better than what I was using before.
Pros: power, quietness, metal propeller
Cons: weight, hard to turn on/off with one hand, cord slot does not fit my heavy-duty outdoor cord

I liked the idea of the metal impeller as apposed to a plastic one. I am replacing one of another brand, and liked the feathers & price on this unit. I was looking at cordless, but for this price I can run out a cord the few times I need it,

I would rate this a 5 star, but I always think that there is room for improvement on anything. My wife has used the blower and says that it works fine and has plenty of power. Have not used it as a vacuum at this time.
