Three days ago I was talking to my spouse about what a great product this is. No more than 2 minutes later a piece of mulch was sucked up and froze the metal impeller causing the unit to burnout. I immediately turned it off but too late.
I will buy another as it is a very good value but sure do wish it had an overload protector.
Pros: versatility, high speed when blowing leaves, strong suction
Cons: no overload protection

With a powerful blower, high speed vacuum and leaf shredder, your job, effort & time has just been cut in half. No more sweeping & filling up or bagging bags of leaves. Get ready to build those biceps too.
Pros: all in one - easy to switch, variable speeds, heavy duty apparatus, professional quality

I have had this blower/vacuum for two days now and have used for 4 hours each day. If you are a short person this unit will break your back when used as a vacuum. It must be held at a certain height to be effective. Making the intake adjustable for length would sure help. The method of attaching the collection bag to the adapter leaks dust all over the user. The strap on the collection bag sure seems like an after thought, does not stay straight in the rings and buckles, needs a shoulder pad. The power cord retention maze does not secure the cord for long. slips out often.
Pros: has decent power, decent quality
Cons: difficult to switch modes, poor bag retention

It's a great yard tool. My only issues are the difficulty of swapping out the blower for a vacuum and the wearability of the bag. I've had it now for several years and it continues to work well.
My aging hands have some difficulty in pressing on the release buttons to remove the bag and to make the switching from blower to vac. Also, I have to remove the bag for clogs and dumping, and wish it was a little easier.

I had this product previously. It worked very well. After serveral years it developed a problem with the attachment run button. So, this is the second one of these I have purchased. I am looking forward to several more years of good performance from this new one.
