everything worked out fine except for the bag. It already has a hole in it. The bag is a piece of junk and I havn't found out as yet as how much a new one would cost. Probably as much a buying a whole new unit.

Such a waste! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

I bought this last year on the end of the fall season and thought it was the greatest. I have used it now a full season and the chute gets clogged within 3 minutes of vacuum/mulch mode. I spend more time unclogging it then actually operating it. I finally today laid it down and picked up a rake just so I could finish. So disappointed. Back to the drawing board to find a quality product as this is garbage. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!

Please visit toro.com under the support tab and reference yard tool help center videos as there is tips to using the Blower Vacs. Not a very good product. Heavy, clumsy, bag leaks around the tie. Can’t change from blower to vacuum very easily. All changeable parts are much to snug to make separation easy like Black & Decker. They force you to buy an additional part to make it mulch properly. Go with B&D.

Less noisey than gas but not as strong Needs 12/2 outdoor extension cord. Only needs two wires. The ground is not used. Need 12 guage to reduce voltage drop
This is a good blower/vac. Vacuum is very good except the bag blew a hole in it after about 9 months of operation. Toro did replace the bag free of charge but said that the bag should only be filled half way. Thank you Toro for this. This requirement is NOT mentioned in the manual. This is a very odd requirement, to me, this means Toro should redesign the bag so that it can be almost full when vacuuming. This now means I have to stop, turn off the unit and check how full the bag is, very inconvenient. I have purchased other brands in the past, filled the bag to almost full (the other brand had other issues).
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] El blower vac es poderoso! Me gusta la forma de darle o quitarle fuerza al vacum en el botón, es tan fácil como subir y bajar el volumen del radio!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my wife and I retired to the desert, our old gas/oil mix blower/vacuum decided to retire, too. Not a problem. Our new residence and lot were both much smaller, so a smaller and easier-to-use tool for yard maintenance made sense - plug in, unplug. So far, so good. Two negatives, however, surfaced early. The plug in the front made it necessary to re-route the extension to the back, and wrap on the product behind my arm and hand to operate easily and not trip over the cord. Secondly, the area where the collection bag attaches to the black plastic tube that inserts into the machine is pretty flimsy and insecure. Material and dust blows out. Nothing that a little duct tape doesn't fix. :-D. Unfortunately, I think replacement bags will become regular purchases.
