This is our second Ultra Toro blower / vac iin 4years.; my husband uses it three times a week summer and fall blowing and vacuuming up leaves. The Ultra has enough power not only to blow the leaves into piles but also enough to reduce the amount (15 / 1) while vacuuming it up. The only weak point we have found was the plastic zipper on the collection bag.(remedied with a metal oversized one)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always raked, swept and physically picked up leaves. After purchasing my very first leaf blower, I am so pleased that I decided on a Toro. My Ultra blower vac has surpassed all my gardening needs and expectations. My Toro makes work easy and prevents backaches. I enjoy telling my friends about my Toro product.
Pros: one product doing three jobs., light in weight, easy to clean

Very powerful and light. Having to deal with a cord isn't the best, but I prefer it over A) running out of gas; B) mixing the gas incorrectly and blowing up the engine; or C) having to wait for a battery to re-charge
The blower is light but very powerful and easy to use. The variable speed feature is very useful.

Product is very easy to handle, I like the idea that I can use the vacuum bag for a storage bag.
Purchased a second Toro 51619 leaf blower because I like the machine and I had purchased the Toro Gutter Cleaning Kit.
The reason I had to buy a second one was because the off/on switch went on the first one. The switch couldn’t be replaced. Toro isn’t being very environmentally friendly.
Would suggest the top of the handle be flat rather then rounded. The reason is there are times when you have to lay the blower on its back, and the blower wants to roll around.
I also have a couple of suggestions for the Toro Gutter Cleaning Kit. Trying hold on to the 2” pipe when the blower is on high can be a handful. I made a “D” handle and attach it to one of the pipe sections with a 2” clamp, the type of clamp used with drier pipe. I adjust the “D” handle to where it is comfortable.
Secondly the piece that goes into the gutter should be adjustable. Not up and down but side-to-side. If all you had to do was walk around the house on impeded it might be all right.
I saw good reviews on this blower, so took a chance. It works better than expected. It appears to perform better than some gas blowers neighbors have. The only reason I took a point off dependability is because I only had it for one year and it's too soon to tell.
