Outstanding leaf blower

Tons of power and volume of air. Very easily configurable from blower to vacuum mode, and back again. Variable speed is genuinely useful, to my surprise. Metal impeller is an absolutely key upgrade over the lower priced model with the plastic impeller; slightly higher price worth every penny. Great product.

switch failure

I have had 2 Ultra blowers. The first one lasted a full season. The second one failed very quickly. I believe both have failed variable speed switches.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This Toro Ultra Blower/Vac is a very good tool. I use it extensively for my property clean up of leaves and twigs...Very dependable and reliable. Very good blower performance at high speeds...

Product works well but bags a bust

I was so excited to get the bigger product.( I had been pleased with my smaller model, but sadly it was recalled).
It is a bit harder to handle and to use in tighter areas but works well overall. I was extremely disappointed that the bag zipper broke and ripped away after one use. Now I am stuck with the expense of purchasing a new bag or paying for a repair. Not what I expected.

This is a great electric Blower / Vac. Somewhat heavier than my replaced Toro, but manageable. I am sure the potentiometer will be handy, thought I have not found a use for other that "full blow"
The single most misstep I keep experiencing is the cord lock. It does not work as well as my last Toro. Keeps falling out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i have owned at least a dozen of this model. only two have lasted a month or two past two years. the speed dial malfunctions or the motor burns out. in the last three years i have found a new flaw. the leaf bags leak around the neck and they get holes in them much more quickly. i am constantly sewing them to fix the holes. the leak around the neck is a lack of quality control. i should not have to sew them to tighten the seal when they are new out of the box.

Based on first use of a Toro product seems like good quality,
and a good value. Time will tell if it meets advertised claims.
Good blower power for a light machine. Noise level not too bad. Used in dry weather, and look forward to seeing how it performs in our WET northwest conditions. So far, so good. Didn't try the vacuum operation yet, but setting up the bag looks easy.
