[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to vacuum up the endless leaves falling from my Florida oak. It does a great job of picking up the leaves and it leaves the small acorns behind to sweep up. I was worried it would be too heavy but it is fine to carry around. Glad I made this purchase, it saves a lot of time and raking leaves when it is usually breezy outside.

Best blower on the market!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had mine for over 10 years, don't use it for the vacuum aspect but man, she blows HARD! Ive had gas models and other electrics but none of them put out the power of this one. I've dropped it and broken off the handle, and it'll give you a workout, but it does the job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my wife and I retired to the desert, our old gas/oil mix blower/vacuum decided to retire, too. Not a problem. Our new residence and lot were both much smaller, so a smaller and easier-to-use tool for yard maintenance made sense - plug in, unplug. So far, so good.Two negatives, however, surfaced early. The plug in the front made it necessary to re-route the extension to the back, and wrap on the product behind my arm and hand to operate easily and not trip over the cord. Secondly, the area where the collection bag attaches to the black plastic tube that inserts into the machine is pretty flimsy and insecure. Material and dust blows out. Nothing that a little duct tape doesn't fix. :-D. Unfortunately, I think replacement bags will become regular purchases.

Why change? My first Toro Blower/vac lasted 12 years, and only required replacement because the power cord pulled out of the housing. The new design on the current model eliminates this as an issue.
The Toro has plenty of air velocity as a blower for my needs, and the vac/leaf shredder makes leafing in the flower & shrub beds a one step solution. Plus, the price was right!
