Replaced my old Toro yard vac/blower this year after several years of use. Dependable and reliable are "watchwords" I'd use to describe this piece of property maintenance equipment. The new model (purchased this year) is much quieter than the previous model and that's an added PLUS.
The Ultra blower is easy to set up and use. The instruction manual was quite clear. The product has plenty of power for my usage in vacuuming leaves off the deck and out of the grass.

Was a little skeptical at first but that quickly went away. Wish I had purchased this unit earlier as it saves a lot of time, energy and trash bags.
I’m a 74 year widow and I bought this to replace the Toro blower/leaf vacuum that I had for over 20 years. It’s a little heavier than my old one but much more powerful.
Pros: powerful
Cons: heavier

Hello, Greatest thing when I first bought it and since then it has burnt out the rheostat control for the motor speed. I got online expecting I could buy parts for this unit, but found out that Toro considered it to be a liability because of user electrical repairs. Toro does not sell any electrical parts to repair this unit. Instead I by-passed the rheostat and accompanying resistor and used the plug as the "switch". Certainly not recommended, but only alternative other than buying a whole new unit. This worked very well up until the other week I noticed a slow down in rpm's and a burning smell coming out of the unit. Pulled the plug to stop the unit. Tried pressing the circuit breaker and it operated while the circuit breaker was depressed. . This tells me that either the circuit breaker was bad or the windings were bad. I do not have a mega reader to check. Please do not do anything unless you have top notch electrical skills thus accept your own responsibility.
Pros: blew like a hurricane!
Cons: burnt out rheostat after about a year

It is true, Toro does not recommend replacing electrical components in our blowers. Why? The replacement of single parts (i.e. brushes, springs) tends to be short-termed due to existing wear on the armature shaft and for our customer's safety we do not provide replacement parts for electrical components to avoid electrical hazards that may result during the repair process. Also, the cost of replacement electrical components or a replacement motor outweighs the cost of a new unit. Please keep in mind, we have backed your Ultra blower/vac with a two-year Toro warranty to protect you against manufacturing defects (starting as of the purchase date), in which we stand behind 100%. Great, but how do I obtain warranty? Simply contact our customer care team at 888-384-9939 (US) or 800-544-5364 (CA). We're here to help!

This was bought to replace our ancient Toro electric blower that gave up the ghost after 15 years!
I like the metal impeller on this one and the multi speed dial. Today, I went out and blew the leaves in our back yard with it and it performed very well.
I gave high ratings due to the experience with our old Toro blower and how this new one has performed.

This purchase was a replacement for another Toro Blower that broke down after less than a year's use. Since it was still under warranty, the replacement cost me nothing. Hopefully I'll get more use out of the replacement. No quibble on replacing this unit under the warranty terms.
Pros: metal impeller
Cons: did not last long

Very pleased with this Toro. My first lawnmower was a Toro, 40+ years ago and it was a workhorse. I trust the Toro name, and this blower did not disappoint.
