First off, the appliance looks beautiful on the counter. We have other GE Cafe appliances and they have been great. Plus we were excited that it was SCA Certified. But, the satisfaction ends there unfortunately. We are only able to make 2 cups at a time or the basket overflows (it drains/drips too slow), we get grounds in the pot, the carafe leaks, and the unit itself stopped working after a few months...again (we are on a replacement unit)...

Hi there,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out about your coffeemaker. So sorry to hear about the issues you've had with it in the past, we can understand how this would sully your experience a bit. If the troubleshooting tips in your Use and Care manual don't help matters, then we'd recommend taking advantage of your warranty as seen on page 16. You can view your Use and Care manual, here: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-9000019-1.pdf&_ga=2.256869199.538808806.1669646457-1854994708.1668527953
We do hope this helps and that this is taken care of for you soon.
I was super excited about this coffee maker. I followed all of the setup steps to a T and when it came time to brew my first cup of coffee the morning after I got it, it won't brew. The machine keeps flashing either "Err 3" or "Add H20," even though there is more than enough water in the reservoir. It's really frustrating!!

We’re so sorry your coffee maker isn’t working as expected. This certainly isn’t the experience we expect for you and can imagine how disappointing this is. Information on the warranty can be found on page 16 of the user’s manual here: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-9000019-1.pdf. -Gina@Café
This coffee maker is great and matches my other cafe appliances, but it gets cold right after brewing. I had to get it replaced once because of another issue and neither have had a functional warming tray. The customer service line said it should warm for an hour after brewing. Am I missing a setting? Anyone else have this issue? Even set to the highest temperature setting coffee cools within minutes of brewing.

Hi - We are saddened to hear about the difficulty you are having with your Café coffeemaker and apologize for your disappointment and inconvenience. The thermal carafe model does not have a heated warming tray. Once the coffee is brewed, It will slowly lose heat. The coffee stays hot due to the vacuum seal thermal carafe. The thermal carafe retains the heat of the coffee for a minimum of 1 hour after brewing. You may try preheating the inside of the thermal carafe by filling it with hot water prior to brewing your coffee. This may help prevent heat loss. Be sure to empty the carafe prior to brewing. We hope this helps. Kind regards - Vikki@Café
I’m loving my new Cafe Coffee maker. Very easy to set up and use. I love that I can be program it to have coffee ready for me when I roll out of bed. It’s very pretty and looks so much nicer on the counter than my old coffee maker.
A highly refined drip coffee machine. Not only does it make cups after cups of wonderful coffee, it brings the style and fineness that other machines simply lack. The matte black and copper accents are a true sight to behold. My only thing I would change would be to remove all plastic from the machine to make it a true dream machine to own. Otherwise it’s a must have.
