Nice coffee pot

This is a beautiful coffee pot. We love most everything about it. The only negative that I have is that it leaks.

Delicious Coffee

The machine makes delicious coffee and is easy to use. The various brew levels are nice. You have to be careful to use perfectly even scoops or slightly less or the brew basket will overflow and make a mess for cleanup with grinds everywhere. Also water puddles inside the brew basket chamber which makes cleanup a bit annoying but otherwise we are happy with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We did want to say that, when using your Café coffee maker, you may find coffee grounds have overflowed the brew basket, splashed up on the showerhead lid, or gone into the coffee in the carafe. There is always going to be some level of coffee ground and oils that splash back onto the showerhead lid when the maximum level of coffee grounds is used. What you want to avoid is having the coffee grounds overflow into your coffee in the carafe.
You already mentioned you were being careful about the amount of grounds, but we wanted to offer some more advice. One bit being, we recommend using a medium-grind coffee, when possible. A finer grind is more likely to lead to an overflow of coffee grounds.
Also, your coffee maker comes with a gold mesh basket filter in the brew basket insert. You can use a No. 4 paper filter instead, but using both the mesh filter and a paper filter will cause grounds to overflow into the basket insert or could splash coffee grinds and residue on the underside of the lid.

Misleading description

It’s a 10 cup coffee maker? Only the cups are 4.5 ounces each?! The reservoir only holds 6 actual imperial cups. Be prepared to make more than one pot of coffee in the morning.

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear about your disappointment. We did want to say that the carafe capacity is 45 ounces; it is 10, 4.5 ounce cups. Also, there is a 3oz difference between the water level in the water tank and the brewed result. This is due to the coffee grounds absorbing the water.

Great coffee, but white pot is stained terribly!!!

I received this coffee maker as a Mother’s Day gift and, while it makes wonderful coffee, the once beautiful white pot is now horribly coffee-stained brown. It isn’t pretty and, honest, the aesthetic was a large part of why I loved it to begin with. Disappointed and wishing I hadn’t gone with the white, but it matches my appliances in my kitchen. Anyone else have luck removing coffee stains from the lid and rim of coffee pot?
