Pretty but....

White coffee maker with a black cord is my first problem. This high end, expensive coffee maker comes with a black cord (Toaster does not). Must wait till pot is finished unless you like a mess.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I swear this makes the best tasting coffee

We use the gold setting to brew our daily coffee and it really is perfect. Great temp, great strength, just overall great results. It's quick and quiet too. And the metal carafe keeps the coffee warm for hours. We love the sleek, modern look too.

Good Coffee

Technology has advanced, exponentially. This includes the Cafe state-of-the-art very modern brewer. That being said, after paying an exorbitant amount, one's expectations will be just as high. Yet, it does make a swell cup of coffee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
