Loved it, until it died way too soon

We loved the coffee this coffee maker made, and the look of the product was beautiful on our countertop... we've had it for a little less than two years, and the last time we descaled it, it stopped making a full carafe, leaving a little more water in the reservoir each time - until this morning when it started throwing us the "Add H2O" error. Tried everything before walking to our neighborhood coffee shop and am now researching new ones.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are going to make sure we take this information and share it with our product team, this way they can make sure that we're making the right choices when it comes to design and longevity. Also, to be on the safe side, we'd recommend trying an electronic reset. This can be done by unplugging the coffee maker for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in.

This is the best coffee pot I have ever owned. Makes coffee extremely quickly and the carafe keeps it hot for hours.

Sleek, quiet and fast

The cafe drip coffee maker in black really elevates the look of the kitchen counter. The programming was easy and it makes a great cup of coffee. I wish it worked better as an under the counter machine. If the basket swiveled and/or the tank did, it would be help. The whole thing has to be pulled out for water and for ground coffee. I love how quiet and fast it is. I just wish the designed didn’t require the whole machine to be pulled out and in every day.

Stopped working less than one year

Machine stopped working properly in less than one year. I would receive an error message to "add water" even when the reservoir was full. Would shut off multiple times during a brewing session. I have descaled it, cleaned it, unplugged it/plugged it back in to reset it, but I still have the same issues. Too expensive of a machine to be having these problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
