Mold in reservoir

I was so excited to purchase this coffeemaker and am really bummed that it’s not worth the money. While the design is beautiful and it looks great on my countertop, the water reservoir is a breeding ground for mold and algae. Every day, I have to prop the top open to let it air out — even after doing this, there is mold growing in the reservoir. No amount of cleaning can get it all out, would love to return this if I could.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cheap, unreliable for a huge price tag

Barely lasted a year. Won't brew coffee anymore. Absolutely unacceptable that it only has a 1 year warranty for a product at this price point.

Just OK

I like the style and options, but all the components are beginning to stain 2 weeks after use. Even inside the carafe I can see the coffee staining the stainless steel. I like the stainless look, but probably should have gotten this in black to hide the stains. One other thing I don't like is that none of the components are dishwasher safe, so the inside of the coffee ground holder can't be adequately cleaned. The hype about this coffee maker is overstated. My Cuisinart made coffee just as well, for half the price.

After each use, you may want to empty the carafe of any coffee you are not going to drink. Letting coffee stand overnight in the carafe can lead to staining. After each use, rinse the carafe and lid under warm, running water. For a deeper clean, wash regularly in warm, soapy water and use a soft-bristled brush. Rinse and dry your carafe and lid thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleaners as they may scratch the finish.

I am so happy with this coffee maker! First it makes a great cup of coffee! Just the right temperature and brewed to perfection. Second, it looks gorgeous on my counter. And finally, it’s easy to use and makes the coffee quickly while allowing enough time of the coffee to bloom. I would definitely buy this again.

Beautiful but lots of flaws

Beautiful design but the coffee doesnt get hot enough in the brewing cycle and doesn't stay warm in the thermal carafe. i have to reheat my coffee every morning. Also the water tank and cup size is very small - for 1 6 oz cup of coffee, i have to select 2 cups. Not the coffee maker to use when you have guests over.

FINALLY - GREAT Tasting Coffee!

So far, VERY good! I have tried a lot of coffee makers with 'blah' results and had given up on being able to make great tasting coffee with an appliance that I could afford. Cafe' has proven me wrong1 Thank you!!!
