Sweet Coffeemaker/High Quality Coffee Control

Not only does this coffeemaker look sweet, the coffee and control of your coffee quality is great. Needed to replace a failed coffee maker from another manufacturer and started to research the Café. Gives you great control and makes a great coffee (especially if you are an aficionado) very pleased with this.

Fancy Coffee Pot

Remodeled a kitchen using stainless steel appliances and copper accents so this coffee pot fit perfectly in my "color" scheme. Aside from the ability to start the pot brewing while I am still in bed in the morning, I have not utilized any other feature(s). But don't be fooled, this really is just a very very nice looking coffee pot. Really no different from the regular glass coffee pot makers you purchase at other big box stores, but you will pay significantly more for this one. Would I buy it again? YES! Because it matches my kitchen perfectly.

The appliance is beautiful and matches my kitchen perfectly. I have enjoyed using more specialty coffees with this brewer. Love all the features.

Looks nice but lid is difficult for me to remove

I received it as a Christmas gift to match my other cafe appliances. It looks nice but I was disappointed that it doesn’t have a warming plate to keep coffee hot. Also the lid is very difficult for me to remove from the carafe. I have to use a spoon to help remove it. Because it was a gift I gave to keep it

Hello ME72- Thanks for taking the time to share your review. This is an amazing Christmas present! We can imagine how great it looks in your kitchen with your other Café appliances. We want you to love your new coffee maker and are happy to help with the issues you are having. We are sorry that you are having this issue with the lid. The carafe has channels in it, the lid should only fit into 2 channels. Then you turn it to close it. It is normal for the water to condensate on the parts inside the brew basket at the end of the cycle and remain there unit it is opened and cleaned.
Note-There is no heater under the thermal carafe. The coffee stays hot due to the vacuum seal thermal carafe. Thanks for your feedback! Joyce@Cafe

Great Coffee Maker but has potential!

I bought this about a month ago and while enjoying this, I’m not overly satisfied given what I paid for this.
I really like how I can set the different brew strengths, I like the color, how the rim of the carafe and bottom underneath is plastic. This keeps from scratching. The coffee machine is also a nice plastic which I like. I also like how this coffee machine shuts off after the desired number of cups you make.
Where this product falls short is that it scratches easily. My wife’s ring has already scratched the pot under the handle from grabbing it.
Where the coffee drips into the carafe leaks a lot more than my other cheaper made coffee pots did. You have to continually make sure no coffee grinds get stuck between the filter and the drip cup, or it leaks all over the bottom when you take the carafe out.
I also don’t like how water always drips off the sides when I lift up the lid to remove the filter.
The auto-brew is not really an auto brew when I have to click the auto brew feature everyday after getting my coffee ready for the next day.
When the power goes out, I still have to reset my coffee machine. I would have liked to see a smart coffee maker at this price point at least contain a small battery that can remember my last coffee settings along with the time.
Overall, it’s a coffee machine that looks really nice. I haven’t used the smart features yet, so I can’t comment on them as of now. The coffee machine has potential, but not satisfied with how much I had to pay for it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You offered some great suggestions and we appreciate your time in sharing. We recommend the use of a minimum of a medium grind coffee. Any finer grind than that can lead to overflow of coffee grounds. We also recommend to use the provided scoop with a flush level of grounds. Heaping scoops can lead to too much grinds/coffee grounds and potentially cause overflows.
